"Right, because they're the problem." I cross my arms and roll my eyes, sarcasm laced within my tone. "And not the prison you put yourself into by being a cocaine addict."

Allison scoffed, looking away from me with a pained expression on her face. "Can you just tell me how my baby is doing?" She mumbled.

"Harmony is great, you don't have to worry."

She let out a breath of relief, a tiny smile planted on her lips. She then turned to me and spoke. " And what about the girls?"

"They're fine." I shrugged. "Back at home, probably arguing their heads off as always.'

'Sounds about right.' She laughed.

'Yeah, but, Allison.' I chuckled, nervously while running my fingers through my hair. 'Are you okay in here? Last time we spoke was when I called and you didn't seem .. well,'

'Yeah, I know. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I don't even think I was speaking correctly. I probably sounded like a crazy person.' She sighed. 'But I'm cool now.'

'Promise?'

Her eyes fluttered up to look into my own and she gave me a weak, semi-convincing smile. 'I promise Erin.'

'Maybe some water.'

My eyebrows raise in confusion and I look over at Niya. She stared back at me, a serious look on her face. 'What? We got water here bae.'

'Well, can you get me some please?'

'Yeah I got chu.' I spoke, standing to my feet.

'And while you're at it can you get my hoodie too and maybe a pair of joggers ?'

'Um,' I paused. 'Going somewhere?'

'Yeah I think so.' She breathed out. 'I think my water just broke so .. hospital?'

'Wait what?!' I nearly jumped. 'Why the fuck you so calm?!' I yelled, scrambling for my phone and keys.
