'It's so early. We wake up so early now.'

'Thas cause the mornings be the best. I would live here jus so I could come outside every morning.'

Me and Kenny were walking around the mall, hand in hand and just talking about anything and everything.

'You'd move here just for that ?'

'Yea I would. But baby go find us somewhere to sit, I'm a go get us sum'n ta eat.' He said, pointing over to a booth and I nodded, reluctantly making my way over to the booth .

I sat down,pulling my phone out in the process although I had nothing to do on it.

I didn't even notice but when I looked up I saw Allison sitting across from me. I looked over and saw that Kenny was deep into a line so I knew that would give her some time to say whatever it was that she had to say.

'You scared the fuck outta me.' I told her, setting my phone down.

'I'm sorry, I just- I was around and noticed you guys come into the court. I wanted to talk to you.'

'Okay.' I nodded, not wanting to decline and start a whole thing.

'Look.' She started off, shifting in her seat. 'I really am sorry about this whole thing that happened with Meech. I know that you guys are close and I know that I made the big mistake of getting involved with a man who has a woman already. I'm sorry that I disturbed you guy's peace with all of this drama and with this baby. '

She stopped talking for a second and bit down on her bottom lip. 'I just don't want there to be any more bad drama between any of us. I don't know if Nyier knows that I'm pregnant yet but I don't want her to hate me either.'

'Look.' I cut in. 'I don't know if Nyier hates you.' I honestly stated. 'But I wouldn't blame her if she did. Meech did not tell her that you were pregnant yet, but when he does then I'm telling you not to be surprised if she does hate chu. '

'I don't want chu to let this drama be a problem for your baby tho.' I nodded, telling the truth.

Allison may be causing a lot of chaos but she does seem like a decent person and it would be bad if something happened to her child because of all of this.

'See that's the thing, I didn't want this baby to be a problem for them and I honestly don't think I'm ready for this so .. I've been thinking about adoption because-'

'Uhn uh, wait.' I butted. 'What did I just say ? Don't let all of this affect you and your child Allison. You honestly don't need Meech or ANY man for that matter. All of this may be hard but it should not make that decision for you. Now if you really feel like you can't handle a kid and that it'll be too hard then that's where your choice comes in. But don't let it be because of this okay, because all of this is gonna pass eventually and you're gonna be the one without a child because you didn't wanna cause complications with THEM. This isn't about them, it's about you when it comes to the child that you're having. You hear me ?'

She nodded with tears streaming down her face. 'Yes .' She answered, wiping her face.

'Can I tell you somethin ?' I asked and she nodded again. I sat up in my seat, shifting as well.

'When I was like, 16 and still in highschool and stuff I ended up getting myself into a situation that NOBODY but Avery knows about. I knew Kenny but we weren't together ya know, we were all just friends. But at that time I had a real messed up problem and I got pregnant. '

'But to make a long story short I aborted the baby because I didn't wanna cause any drama. I'm telling you Allison, you don't wanna give up that baby. '

Allison stayed quiet and nodded.

'Tell me that chu won't give up your baby.'

'I won't.' She said.'Thanks La'Niya, I really appreciate this.' 

'Don't mention it.'

With that she stood up and left while Kenny was making his way over to me. He sat down with our food and sold mines over to me.

'Was that Allison ? Is she pregnant ?'

'Yes but Meech didn't tell Nyier yet so don't say anything until he does.'

'What ?'

'You been here for like a day.' I told Angelo while he sat at the kitchen island with the twins in high chairs.

'I'm watching y'all so you won't try ta cheat the bet.'

'We not cheatin nun and you know that. When I bet, I bet to win nigha.' I stated and he just stayed quiet.

'Why is you here, shouldn't you be with Zi somewhere ?'

His whole demeanor changed and he leaned on his arm that was rested on the island while rubbing the bridge of his nose . He covered his eyes with his hand and sighed.

'Ion fuck wit Zi like that no more.' He said.

'Whatchu mean ?'

'We ain't together no more.'

I didn't say anything after that and he didn't either. I took my time to think about what I was going to say next before speaking.

'What happened ?'

'I ain't tryna talk about it.'

'Well I'm so-'

'Nah don't.' He waved me off. 'You ain't gotta do that.'

'You don't wanna talk cause you ain't tryna cry.' I stated, knowing that I was right and getting to the point.

'Look ain't nobody here but us, you don't gotta put no front up fa me. I'm ya boy. ' I said,motioning my hands between us.

'And I know how you felt about her too. So I know how you feelin bro.'

He was still quiet for a minute then I started to hear him sniffle. 'She was cheatin bro.' He said in a cracked voice. 

'Tell me what happened.'

'And ion feel like it so I'll cook if you run my bath water.'

'Deal.'

I nodded, agreeing with her while we sat and ate our food.

'Ion know why but I be missin you. Like it be right after I've seen and I might go to the store or sum'n and I miss you as soon as I get in the car. ' I admitted.

'I know exactly what chu mean. It's like the second we part I be wanting you to come back.' She giggled.

'Kenny ?'

I looked up to see Leiah standing beside us with a smile on her face. Niya looked at me with a raised eyebrow and a nonchalant face, staring me down and waiting for me to speak.

I felt myself getting nervous before I spoke. 'Oh um, wasup Leiah.'

'Hey. Oh my goodness this must be Niya. ' she cooed and Niya gave off a fake smile.

'Thas me, but what I want go know is who you are.'
