Chapter 18- This Kiss

Hindi masaya ang mukha ni Bishop nang mapagbuksan niya ako ng pintuan sa tinutuluyan niya. Good... I must look like the real Lady Charlotte.

"What do you want this time?" Tanong nito. I smile at him.
"Oh, I heard you had a meeting with the Royal Family... I want an update." Ginawa ko ang pagkaharot ni Lady Charlotte kahit kinikilabutan ako sa kabila ng bleach na nilagay ko sa balat ko.
"Like what you asked me to do. They will announce that the Prince is looking for a wife." Bishop George looked disgusted with me. So, si Charlotte ang nag-utos dito... Gigilitan ko talaga ng leeg ang babaeng yun.

I laugh seductively. "My...my... Careful Bishop."
"I hope your soul will rot in hell." Namumula na si Bishop sa galit.
"All I need is to wear the crown at the Coronation and I will be the Princess, isn't it?" I smile at him mockingly.
"You will not pass to be a Princess." Determinadong sagot ni Bishop.
"Oh, but I will... See you at the Coronation, Bishop." I waved at him and went out of his office.

Naglakad ako papunta sa kotse na nakaabang para sa akin. Tinanggal ko ang wig ko at mga phrostetics sa mukha habang nagmamaneho si Kiro.

"Lilitaw sila sa Coronation. Tell William to fabricate a fake crown para iyon ang idisplay nila sa Coronation. Ililitaw ni Theo ang crown for sure. And we will wait for that time. We need to secretly have a meeting with Henry tomorrow. Dumadami pa lalo ang mga Armenian. Kailangan nilang masecure ang Royal Family." Paliwanag ni Gab.

"Then you will be my princess." He replied.
Teka... ano na nga ba ang sasabihin ko? Ano ba ang sinasabi ni William. Nalilito ako sa mga nangyayari.
"Please Jacqueline... Please give us a second chance." William begged.

"Ano na yung sasabihin mo?" Tanong ni William.

Sinabi ko sa kanya ang mga nangyari na si Bishopang kumuha ng crown sa utos ni Charlotte. "I better start then." He said. Tumayo ako at sumunod si William.

"Jacqueline..." Tawag ni William. I looked at him and I saw raw emotions in his eyes. I saw his head move towards me but I stayed in my place. Because somehow, I long for what will happen. Then I felt his soft lips into mine.

Then those memories that I tried to buried, surface in my head. The happy memories that we had. Those stolen kisses under the trees. The pain of losing him. Will those feelings be worth it for a second chance?
