Chapter 13 - Avoid him...

Rainbows pov*

I woke up at 9AM and knew I HAD to get out of here, after what happened last night was um... oh boy, this was going to be a long day. I could already tell from here. 

I quietly slipped out of bed and out my slippers on hoping Napoleon wouldn't wake up. He shifted a little when I got out but no waken Napoleon yet, I tried the best I can not to make as much noise as possible seeming it would be rude to wake him up, and how weird and embarrassing that could be, oh gosh. 

I successfully made it out the door then bolted to my room slamming it as fast as I could making the thud echo down the halls and through my room "UGH" I said while sliding down the door holding my head flooding my mind with thoughts. "Um... Lady Rainbow?" a small voice spoke grabbing my attention from my thoughts. 

"OH! Um, hello, could you please leave my room? Some alone time could be much helpful right now." I instantly said trying not scream out my lungs while being the most formal I can... 

"Of course princess! I was sent here to wait for your return, many of the guards reports during the night said your room was empty the whole night, the royal highness's wanted me stay just in case you came back so they could call back the search party..." My, well one of my maids said. 

I stood up taller "Thank you for the report of what was going on over the night. Please tell them i'm fine and well, no need for a search party." I said while waving her off. She nodded and hurried to the door closing it much more gently then I did.

I plopped on the bed and screamed out into my pillow making it muffled to no one could hear. I sat up after my scream and just couldn't pull it together making me break down into tears. 

Did Napoleon love me? should I stay away? What happens now? Does he know that I was awake when he kissed me? Do I love him back?

 So many thoughts flooded into my head that time flew by quick and three of my maids that were assigned to me came in without knocking, I wold usually tell them to knock next time but I didn't have the guts to today.

I was soon rushed over to the bathroom and given a bath then prepped with makeup more formal the usual.

"Dawn..." I said as I read off one of my maids pin, "Yes my lady?" I stood up in my pink bathrobe shifting in it a little "Whats with the formal get up?" 

"Lady Rainbow, Alec had made his final call here." I gave her a confused look "It means this is your last stay here until you move to your next destination. The Royal family would like to have one last banquet with you and your little group to talk some royal matters, there will be some special guests as well." 

I nodded and sat  back down as I watched Dawn run off out the room and then come back with the other two with a beautiful pink gown. It was stunning, something I haven't seen in my life. Yes I know I have had many but man, they out did it. I guess they take these things seriously or it had to do something with our 'Special guests'.

I let them slip me into the gorgeous dress and put me in pumps that were a good size to walk in and not break an ankle, the pumps are pretty but they can make you feel like your foot if being poked  by a thousand needles and feel like it could fall off... you know what I mean ladies? Or guys if you tried walking in them for a whole night, day, or just a few minutes...
