" Rainbow, it's your battle, win it with you're loved ones." Mom spoke before turning into dust
"You're missing one Funneh." Dad followed after
Then we woke up, Rainbow was sitting next to me with a potion bottle in hand, when she woke up she placed it on the table.
"I'm missing one?" I whispered remembering what dad had said, "Well find him." Rainbow called out, "Him?" she winked before walking out, I look to my other side to see Alec sitting on the chair fast asleep, "Him." I whispered sitting up, the machine next to me started beeping like crazy and it woke him up, nurses rushed it with a doctor working away, "Your awake at last." The doctor walked towards me. "uh, yeah?"
"You seem perfectly fine and healthy according to the records and machine, we'll run a few test and if it goes well you will be able to leave."
I nodded looking down as a nurse took out a tube.
hours later
I was released and sitting at a table in a small cafe, Alec came up to me, sitting across from me.
"You okay?" he handed me a cup of mint tea, "Yeah, sorry." I looked up and into his eyes forgetting everything.
It was him all along, dad said I was missing one, my lover, the man I loved all this time, but did he love me back?
"Funneh?" He whispered, "Uh, what?" He smiled taking a sip of his drink, "you zoned out, what's on your mind?" I smiled hoping not to make this awkward, "It's nothing, i'll tell you later." I take a sip of my mint tea, "Okay, listen I have to tell you something." I looked up.
"And?"
"I really like you, and I hope you feel the same way."
I blushed leaving me speechless, the man I loved did love me back.
"Alec!" Evan rushed over, he whispered something in his ear making both of them leave right away.
But i'm royal and my position i'm in is way to dangerous for him.
