Everything was a blur. All I could focus on was the fighting, trying not to get myself killed, not get caught in the crossfire even though I was in the middle of it.

The history between Micheal, Rainbow, and Gold was there and strong. Something obviously happened between the three and it was kept secret for a reason, yes I understand that much but what I don't understand is what could have possibly been so bad that led up to this very moment?

"Someone was betrayed," kick. Slap. Punch. Stab.

"What do you mean?" Lunar and I were now back to back as she had suddenly approached me doing a duck and roll dodging the fighting solider to reach me.

"That little speech just now, the tension, the words, someone was betrayed and that person didn't take it too well," the sound of screams filled the room as blood continued to be shed while the king sitting on his throne watched with bored eyes leaning onto the arm of the chair he wrongly claimed.
"If I had to guess Rainbow was betrayed and Gold was caught in the fight between the two," before Lunar could say anything I dived and rolled away meeting up with Draco this time whom clashed swords with Carson, a knight from the gray tigers squad long loyal to the royal family. I turned around and raised my sword against a surprise attack from another soldier who's eye was scarred and became beyond unrecognizable so I couldn't tell who I was fighting but all I know that after a few kicks and punches my sword was through their rib cage and out of their body from the other end before I pulled back and they dropped dead. If they were a friend or foe before this all happened it doesn't matter now because everyone who fights for the mad king is now a foe of mine and my siblings.

"Funneh! Are you okay?" I nodded struggling to keep another opponent at bay while trying to watch out for Draco as he had three ganged up on him. "Shit." I muttered before I was nagged at my side letting it pour out blood but I paid no attention and continued to force my way through the soldiers.

I caught a glimpse of Micheal as I turned to move and make another attack; having a sly smirk on his face with amusement in his eyes as he watched me bare an injury but when he watched Rainbow fight he only frowned and scowled in annoyance with evil and horror in his eyes but the weird thing was, was that mixed into the hatred was very well hidden love. An emotion I thought he wasn't capable of having. "Enough!" Rainbow screamed loud enough for everyone to hear to make the fighting stop but there was no need because Gold had took a final blow on the last soldier declaring him dead.

All of our bloods boiled with hate and fury wanting nothing more but to dethrone him and throw him in a cell to rot and die but we needed him dead to ascend the throne because we knew in his head that it was either he dies and then we take the throne or he lives with all of us dead with Rainbow alive as his prize to become his own personal slave. "Your soldiers are dead, your protection is gone, your defenses are destroyed. I'll give you one last chance to surrender or I'll have you killed by my own two hands!" Rainbow was slowly loosing it as time went on. She was becoming impatient waiting for herself to take on the throne and restore our people and kingdom back to peace. Rainbow wanted the crown for herself instead of him. She needed the crown. "Never! I will never let you have the crown over my dead body! It is you that will be dead as long with your siblings! Rainbow Evergreen I'll make you mine weather it's dead or alive!" Micheal screamed like a child rage exposed all over him as he stood up and gripped his sword, squeezing the handle until his knuckles became white like a sheet of paper.

"Why do you need the crown!? Why did you need to do this!? Tell me! It's you who made the mistake and you know this Micheal, you had everything but you lost everything because of your own mistake. Tell me why you want this so badly?!" The silence filling the hall became eerie as we waited for his answers hiding behind the oldest out of all of us but Rainbows patience grew short and yelled again, "Micheal!" More silence echoed throughout the room his expression hard, his jaw clenched, knuckles tight in a ball while his eyes closed shut.

We waited and waited for more before Rainbow released another yell of anger towards him, "Answer me!"

"Because I still love you!"
