Chapter 34 - The Last Battle

Present Time

Everyone stood there in shock and silence Rainbow's expression hard and unreadable while Gold stood right next to her unable to take her murderous glare off of him ready to take a shot at him at any second.

Draco reached out towards my hand which I gladly accepted while Lunar held his, all three of us waiting for someone to break silence and make the next move like a game of chess.

The game was unpredictable judging by how each of us made moves as they were carefully carried out but you would have to remember that we now lived in it. From how I saw it Micheal was the black king while Rainbow was the white Queen. Purity over darkness but the pureness in Rainbows heart will forever be stained with blood from which her hands have shed while Micheal's will be coated in death because there was no way in hell we will let him live for all of what he had done to us and the people we watch over.

"That love you bare is full of kindness and greed," Rainbow stated tears filling her eyes looking scared to do anything, "Kindness of the memories we shared but greed of your motive."

"Then come back to me." He stated with a slight smile of warmth one would be foolish enough to fall for but his eyes reflected evil and false intentions towards her.

Since he is not royalty of this kingdom he cannot obtain full power and the people's trust unless a true royal were to stand beside him. He needs a key and having one of us would solve his problem but the true key would always reside in Rainbow and that's what he wants.

"Coming back to you would be a sin to my family and myself." she barked refusing his request standing a bit straighter then before her arm slightly out to block Gold from pouncing on him, "It's something even greater then a sin you demon!" Gold shouted aggravating the soon to be dead king him raising his arm and reaching down towards his boot and before any of us could react a blade short as a dagger came from his boot and straight towards Gold almost hitting her straight in the heart but hitting the blockade created by Rainbow using her own body and hitting her in the shoulder blade instead. "Rainbow!" Lunar screamed releasing Draco's hand rushing over to her, scrambling to search for something in her bag.

"You bastard!" Draco raged running forward with his sword engaging himself in battle filling the room with the sound of swords clashing against each other with our enemy, Draco too busy with saving his life to even think about Rainbow.

Gold held Rainbow in her arms keeping her in a sitting potion while Lunar poured a pink liquid of some sorts over her wound her hand on the blade intercepted in her about to pull the weapon out of her. I stood there unable to move when suddenly the sound of glass breaking was heard and a group of soldiers that belonged to the demon of this world readied their weapons giving the chance for Micheal to smile slyly like a fox pointing to Draco directly.

"After them alive." we were out numbered as the army of men and women ran straight towards us unable to keep up with Draco's skill with a sword but we were outnumbered nevertheless and the battle was not in our favor.

"Funneh!" Draco screamed in a cry of help snapping me out of my daze and bringing me back in to reality where I grabbed the handle of my sword running forward and piercing my blade straight into a soldiers heart before falling back to target my next victim.

They were not on par with us for sword level but they still put up a good fight as Micheal took a seat back on his wrongfully taken throne him enjoying the scene before a scream could be heard.

I turned for a slight moment to look behind me only to be met with blood oozing out of Rainbows wound given by her ex and all over her armor with Lunar applying pressure onto it with one hand while the other held the blade that used to be in her.

"Gold hand me the healing potion, It's bright pink!" Lunar commanded and Gold obeyed shuffling through her small bag as quickly as possible before handing a small bottle to Lunar, there she took the pink liquid and poured it on Rainbow calming her a bit before throwing the bottle away from them and covering her stab wound with a cloth before lifting her up with her arm around her shoulders.

"Don't think you can escape from here my dear beloved, I will make you my bride if it's the last thing I'll do!" Draco and I fell back towards our trio of siblings holding up Rainbow causing us to be surrounded by waves of soldiers.

"My, my, the fight is already over? I thought it would be more exciting then that!" Micheal grinned walking forward with evil aura all around him.

"You won't get away with this!" Gold sneered already accepting fate that we would be captured and most likely killed besides Rainbow, "Dear I already did." He laughed manically soldiers walking forward and grabbing us so that we couldn't move at all, all of us struggling to get out their grip but they were just too strong for us to subdue.

"I hate you. I hate you so much." Rainbow weakly said her body starting to fall off of Lunar a bit but her words hit Micheal like a bullet judging by the look on his face him unable to keep his emotions under control whatsoever, "That won't last long my love," he angrily said not wanting to believe in those words at all.

"But it will, and it will last forever," Rainbow was so pale she looked like a ghost and her breathing became slow and uneven she was loosing blood even though her wound was covered securely causing Micheal to walk over and stand right in front of her— eyes mixed with different kinds of emotion his lips still displaying an evil smirk. He snickered happily at the look of his prize for victory of this battle before taking a step back away from her the smell of her blood becoming unavoidable.

"But it's a shame I already forgave you." Tears streamed down her face as I watched her hand slowly take the blade that injured herself out of Lunars hand and use up all of her strength that she had left and plunge the dagger straight into Micheals heart, shocking everyone in the room his face in a shocked emotion as he stared down at his heart where the dagger sat proudly in his chest before coughing up blood that spat everywhere before falling into the ground blood spilling faster then ever out of him the knife killing him instantly as his dead corpse laid there dead on the floor with no remorse for him from anybody.

Soldiers under his command stood there in shock giving us a chance to kill and make them back off some of them even siding with us now and fighting there own realizing the kingdom will now have a reign of peace.

Alec, Evan, Kyran, and the others soon came in afterwards and joined the fight but everyone was too busy to notice that Rainbow had dropped down to the ground unconscious either dead or alive.

Ahahaha Rainbow do be dead though, or is she?

I hope you know that I basically bs'd this chapter because I had no idea how to move from the last one. :)

I also decided to post this chapter specifically on September 3rd since it is my moms birthday.
