Chapter 28 - Overpower Darkness

"I've been expecting you." The man with Blue eyes and emerald like shining hair styled that looked like it was covered in hair gel with the same crown our father used to wear sat on his head with a devilish grin that made me want to hurl a rock at his head. "So have we. Your rein ends today Sir Micheal so I advise you to surrender now or have my sword be pierced through your heart." The murder in Rainbows eyes was unfamiliar to me, she felt like a whole different person like someone I have never met in my life. What happened to the sweet sister I knew?

"Oh no dear Rainbow, I believe it's King Micheal now. I'm the one a top of the throne now, your family fell into ruins the moment I killed your beloved parents." Everyone became hostile at the mention of our dead parents, I gripped my sword making my knuckles turn white as I clenched my jaw and grit my teeth.

"You are no king to me. You're a filthy monster with a snakes eye, You're a dirty man, a criminal!" Rainbow yelled almost screamed if she hadn't caught her self at the start of her sentence but this seemed to set the man named Micheal off, "I am no criminal! If you had agreed to it non of it would have happened! Everything would have been at peace if you would have just followed my command!" Micheal screamed in range even standing up from his chair making it be pushed back a bit as the soldiers on his side stiffened at his sudden outburst. "Rainbow who the hell is this man? Do you have some kind of relation with him?" Draco held Lunars hand as she held mine all three of us shaking slightly Gold standing behind Rainbow with a similar look on her eyes. "Enough Micheal you have already done enough damage here! Return the throne to us!" Gold stepped in being at the side of Rainbow now her hand holding on to her weapon that rested in the side of her hip.

"Never! I will never return this throne to you! Gold Evergreen you stole everything from me so now I'll steel everything from you!" To hell with this man! What happened in the past between those three that led to the fall of our kingdom? What happened in the past that it made murder in their eyes?

"She stole nothing from you. I'm the one who left and walked away so do not blame mine and your own faults onto my siblings!" Rainbow took another step forward and his soldiers seemed to become more tense.

I recognized some of those soldiers, some of them were men who I used to secretly train with in my free time. They had a hard face since they were taught to not let their emotions be shown so easily but their eyes say different. They didn't want to fight us, they had thought we'd been lost, relief and worry filled their eyes, but we were fighting against each other and that scared them. Their loyalty to the kingdom and was easily over powered to their loyalty to us.

"What is he talking about!?" Draco questioned, his shield who was Lunar nodded in agreement and so did I. "Their are many things we kept hidden from you but now is not the time to talk about it." Gold spat harshly her gaze still set on the mad king. The three of us were in a daze of confusion and anger between our two sisters and the man called Sir Micheal but we too did not take our eyes off of him.

"I'll have all of your heads on a pole to show the entire the kingdom and you, Rainbow, as my prize! You shall pay for what you have done that day tonight!" He was truly a mad king if I ever saw one myself.

"Touch my siblings and I'll kill you! I will never forgive you for that night!" I could tell that her words hurt him a little bit and the way he hid his emotion was very well done. Only an expert could see straight though him.

"Enough nonsense! Let's make a deal Rainbow,"
"Never-" Rainbow was cut off mid sentence with fire in her eyes.
"Let me finish." He waved his hand summoning a man clean and crisp in a gray colored suit his shoes polished till it shined and gelled back hair whom made his way over to him with a red velvet pillow and golden tassels with a crown that all five of us knew too well resting quietly on it, cleaned from any blood spilt on it— correction cleaned from our mothers blood.

"Take my hand in marriage and become my queen and I'll guarantee your siblings safety outside of the kingdom and a luxurious free life or watch your beloved sisters and brother die in front of you."

"So I don't get a choice? I'd rather die with them then be betrothed to you." The pink haired princess declared announcing her choice which made him go even more mad, I mean, if you can even get more mad then he already is. "I'll get you back one way or another! After them!" And so the battle began.

So like how have you guys been? Yeah I understand that you guys might be mad at me for not updating sooner but sometimes a girl has procrastinate! Anyways hope you guys are doing well and sorry for the boring chapter but I promise the next one will be much more intriguing with the ideas I have in mind! Anyways stay safe!
