I woke up to snoring.
As I opened my eyes, I felt cold for some reason. When sat up, I saw that my downy blue comforter was in a heap on the floor.
"Well I guess that solves that mystery, now on to the next mystery..."
I tiptoed out of my room, into the living room.
There, laying on the couch, mouth wide open, or at least I thought, (I couldn't tell because he wears his mask when sleeping) was Kakashi fast asleep. The mysterious snoring was also coming from him.
"Hmpf... oversleeping again I see."
Quietly, I went back into my room and got dressed. After eating a small bowl of egg-rice, I wrote a quick note on a piece of paper and stuck it to dad's forehead.
With that, I left the house and made my way towards the Academy.
-Time Skip-
I walked into the classroom to see Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha glaring daggers at each other.
"Sheesh...I hope I'm not paired with Sasuke... he's the most emo kid I've ever met..."
Suddenly Naruto fell forward and gave Sasuke a big smooch on the lips. I laughed my head off, but the other girl's reactions were different.
Most of the girls started punching Naruto into a pulp. Both Ino Yamanaka, and Sakura Haruno were fawning over Sasuke.
"Uhg, I hate Sakura... I also hope I'm not paired with her..."
I sat down next to one of my best friends, Hinata Hyuga. She was staring at Naruto with a huge blush on her face. Everyone but Naruto knew that she was head over heels for him.
"Oh I hope Naruto is ok..." Hinata said in a quiet voice.
I just rolled my eyes and dived into my book.
Although I already graduated several years ago, I hadn't been placed on a team because of my young age, and I was still considered part of this graduate group.
Iruka-Sensei then walked into the classroom with a clipboard.
"Alright, when I call your name, go to the room I assign. That's where you'll meet your new Sensei." Iruka-Sensei said loudly.
The room suddenly went quiet, and was filled with anticipation.
"Since we don't have an even amount of people, there will be one team that has four instead of three." Iruka-sensei stated.
"Team 7 should go to room number 19, and includes Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kyoko Hatake."
"Dang... I'm on a team with both Saucey-Gay, and the Pink Banshee... I don't really mind Naruto, but he's still kinda annoying."
"IRUKA-SENSEI!! WHY DOES AN AMAZING NINJA LIKE ME HAVE TO BE ON THE SAME TEAM AS THAT LOOSER." Naruto yelled pointing at Sasuke.
"Yeah! And why do I have to be on the same team as Kye!?!" Sakura said in agreement.
"Naruto... Sasuke's grades were the second best of all 28 graduates while your's were dead last... We have to do this to balance the teams." Iruka-sensei responded with his hands on his hips.
"Also, Sakura to answer your question, Kyoko had the first best grades of the graduates, in both physical AND mental, so I don't wanna hear it from the lowest physical grade."
Sakura just responded by glaring at me, to which I replied with a grin and a peace sign.
"Ok, now that's over, Team 7, go to room 19 to meet your new Sensei." Iruka-sensei ordered.
A/N Hey guys, sorry if this chapter was a bit late and short! Just as a heads up, the next few chapters will be a bit short, but after that they should start to get a bit more lengthy. :D
