Spending the rest of the weekend rotating between the room and the beach, we focused mostly on relaxation and keeping to ourselves. Our phones had been ringing constantly since I had made those four simple phone calls and posted the picture of my ring. Deciding that we needed some time away from everything, we eventually made the decision to turn our phones off. Knowing that our families knew where we were staying, we hoped that they would call the hotel if there happened to be an emergency.

As of now, we had been lucky so far to not get spotted by anyone at the beach, but that was all about to change. It was late Saturday night, and we had decided to eat at the oyster bar that Kyle and I had went to several months ago. Requesting a low lit booth in the corner, I thought for certain that we would not be bothered. Little did I know, Scotty's "McCreerians" could spot him in the darkest lit places.

Sitting down at the booth, we quickly ordered our food. Not being big on oysters, I chose the seafood pasta and Scotty ordered a dozen fried oysters with a side of crawfish tails. After the waitress walked away, he reached across the table and grabbed my hands, sitting there like that for quite some time, until one of the loudest shrieks caused us to snap our heads in the direction from which it came.

"Scotty! Oh my God, Moma it's Scotty McCreery! Look, he's really here and Gabi is with him!," a loud shrieking voice came from this surprisingly smaller girl who was pointing her finger in the direction of us and tugging on her mother's shirt hem.

Covering my face with my menu, I couldn't believe what was happening right now. One day, that was it. It had only taken one day for someone to spot us and one day for someone to find out who I was. Did she know that we were engaged? Of course she did, honestly I would be surprised if she didn't.

Still, as I looked across the booth at Scotty, a smile was on his face as he pulled the menu away and placed it on the table. Watching the girl and her mom walk up to our table, I opted for my only other option, covering the side of my face with my hand.

"Scotty! Oh my gosh, can I take a selfie with you," she asked, as she came up to the table, her voice not becoming any quieter.

"I'm so sorry about this," her mom said, "I told her not to come and bother you, but she has loved you since you were on Idol. I hope this isn't too big of an inconvenience," she went on with pleading eyes, almost as if she was begging Scotty to do this or else she wouldn't hear the end of it for the rest of the night.

Taking a sip of his tea, Scotty smiled,"Ma'am, please it's no trouble. I'm always here for my fans, anywhere and anytime."

Reaching his arm out, he motioned for the little girl to come closer to him and she did, almost in tears.

"Now, let's me and you take that selfie, what do you say?," he winked.

Looking towards the little girl's mom, they both smiled as she snapped the picture on her phone. Watching them, my heart was bursting with love for this man sitting in front of me. Here he was, on our engagement weekend, taking the time to take this picture with this little girl, who undoubtedly adored him. Taking my hand away from my face, I couldn't help but smile.

As the little girl and her mom thanked Scotty and started to walk away, he stopped them, reaching for the little girl's hand, pulling her back towards him, her mom standing close by in the distance

"Wait, you didn't tell me what your name was," he said before pausing and reaching for one of the napkins on the table. Months ago, when we were here, he had done the same thing at the burger joint. Again, I smiled and reached into my purse, pulling out a notepad and pen, handing it to him.

"Thank you," he said, as he winked at me and focused back on the little girl.

"So, are you going to tell me?," he asked, nudging her on her shoulder.

Smiling, she said, "My name is Gabriella."

Scotty laughed, while signing the top piece of paper on the notepad, glancing towards me and back at the little girl..."Well, Gabriella that is a very beautiful name. Two of the most beautiful girls have that name," he said, tearing the paper from the pad and handing it to her.

"You see,he continued....."this is my fiancée," he said motioning towards me. The little girl looked at me for the first time and awkwardly waved, causing me to smile and wave back.

"Guess what her name is?," he asked.

"Gabriella?," the little girl responded.

He smiled, "Now, how did a smart little girl like you know that?," he asked.

Looking from me to him and back to me again, the little girl went on, "Because you said that two of the most beautiful girls had my name and well she is beautiful."

By now, my heart was melting. I held my hands up to my chest and breathed a deep sigh as Scotty winked at me once again, reaching for my hand, his eyes still on me as he spoke, "Yes she is, isn't she?"

I smiled and squeezed his hand as he turned back towards the little girl, "Now Gabriella, you must promise me something," he went on, looking towards her mom and back at her.

"Anything Scotty," she shrieked.

He smiled, "Promise me that you will come see me at one of my shows?"

"I promise!," she said before running off to be by her mother's side, grasping the notepad paper in her hand.

As she walked away, I watched her run up to her mom and excitedly show her the paper, grasping on to it as she grabbed her mom's hand with the other and started walking away. After a few minutes, they were not visible any longer and I turned my attention back towards Scotty.

Smiling, I said, "You know you really made her night."

Popping a fried oyster in his mouth, he returned my smile, "Ahhh, I do what I can," he winked.

Realizing in this very moment of how much I truly and deeply loved this man, I felt blessed that God had made him just for me.
