After we finished our meal, the waitress asked how we were going to do the checks. Within seconds, Ashley said that it would all be on one ticket and I wondered how that was possible, but remembered that Scotty had said she had his cards. Still, a part of me felt bad and so I offered to leave the tip.

Walking out of the restaurant, I noticed Bill and Stan in the corner and thought to myself, "Had they been there the whole time?" If so, they were definitely good at their job of not being seen or heard. Stepping outside, it wasn't long after that they followed closely behind and we made our way towards the limo where Walter was already waiting with the door open.

"Where to now, miss?," he asked, as we made it closer to him.

Turning around, I looked at all of the girls for a split second before facing his direction again..."Take us to Times Square, Walter. We want to see the city lit up at night."

He smiled, "Of course ma'am," as he motioned for us to step inside the limo.

Just as I was about to step inside, Paige spoke up...."Actually, I think I'm going to be going Gabi. I've already seen Times Square at night and well, it's a bit of a drive back to Manhattan from here. See you tomorrow?," she asked

I smiled, "Of course, our appointment is at two-thirty tomorrow. I'll see you there."

As she turned to walk away, she said, "See you there," she paused, "Oh and Gabi, I meant what I said, I'm always here to listen."

I smiled, waved goodbye, and stepped inside the car.

The drive to Times Square took less than ten minutes and I was starting to believe that everything in the city was connected in some form because it didn't take very long to get anywhere. Looking out the window, we could see the lights flashing in the darkness and people bustling about on the sidewalks.

Deciding there was only one way to take in these sights, I pressed the sunroof button and waited patiently for it to open. Standing on the seat, I pushed myself through the window and within a few minutes, Ashley, Scotty's sister joined me.

We stood there taking it all in for a few minutes until she finally spoke..."You know Gabi, this is my first time in NYC as well."

Looking towards her, I asked, "Really?"

She smiled, "Yes, but I can assure you it won't be my last. This is beautiful, and so much better than seeing it on TV."

Breaking my attention away from her, I had to agree. Yes, we had watched the ball drop on New Year's Eve every year. Yes, we had watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, but until you actually experienced it first hand, there wasn't enough words to describe it.

Stepping back into the limo, I pressed the button to buzz Walter. Shortly after, he pulled down the divider separating us from him, "Yes ma'am?," he asked

Leaning towards him, I asked, "Can you drop us off please? I think we are going to walk around for a bit if that's okay."

Merging into the far right lane, he idled the car, "Certainly ma'am, just one moment."

Stepping out of the car, he walked around to open our door, tipping his hat towards me...."I will be just around the corner if you need me and I'm sure Bill and Stan are close by.

I nodded and turned to face the girls, who were already looking around them. Being inside of the limo did not do Times Square proper justice. Looking up, I saw skyscrapers that seemed to go on and on, never stopping once they reached the sky. Lights were everywhere, making it look almost daylight outside. There was an ad advertising "Lion King" on Broadway flashing bright yellow and almost blinding us. It was seriously almost too much to take in all at once.
