Winding through the streets was easy until we got to the building. People were scrambling to get away, some yelling to turn back, and several sirens were heard in the distance along with a few other explosions to throw off whoever it was. I pulled out my phone and dialed Raph's number. It went straight to voicemail and I could feel something burning my throat with fear.
"He's not picking up." I said. "Do you think—"
"They're okay, I know it." He said, driving past the building and into an alley a block away.
I bit my lip worried and nodded, stuffing my phone back in my pocket. The shellrazor was parked there and he brought the motorcycle to a stop, parking it and throwing his helmet to the side.
"Wait here!" He called to me, running towards the vehicle.
"But, Le—" I got cut off by another explosion from the building a ways away and cringed, looking around.
Minutes passed by and I grew anxious. After a while, I wanted to know why he was in there. And what it has to do with the burning building across the way.
I walk up to the shellrazor and open the door, seeing everyone surrounded by Jasper, who was laying on the table out cold. His body flinched and I could see his features change back and forth every couple seconds. His hair stayed at Jasper's thin buzz cut, almost looking bald, hair. He wore a leather jacket with a green shirt, pants, and steel toed boots like the ones my Father would wear. It was like neither one could decide who to take the wheel. My gaze stayed at the table staring at his stiff body.
"What's going on?" I spoke up.
I glanced at them and they stared at me with wide eyes just now taking notice of my presence. Donnie put his tools down quickly and stood between me and him. Raph glared daggers at his brother and spoke up.
"I thought ya took her back home!" He yelled at his brother.
Leo was about to respond when Don cut him off.
"Angel, you need to leave." Donnie looked at me.
"Tell me wh—"
"Now." He stammered angrily.
"No." I crossed my arms over my chest.
His body flinched again on the table and I took a step back. Donnie went back to his work, focusing intently.
"Angel," He let out a frustrated sigh, "this is serious."
"Donnie—" Raph cut me off putting his hand on my shoulder to stop me from taking a step towards Don. I glanced at him angrily and he took his hand away.
"We didn't want you around this." He mumbled.
I noticed Jasper's body stopped fizzing from him to my Dad.
"W-What are you doing to him?" I stuttered, seeing only my Father laying on the table now.
"Raph." Donnie motioned for him to take care of it.
He tried backing me out. I pushed his hands away and put some distance between us.
"Angel, it isn't safe." He tried explaining.
"Like hell its not. What are you doing to them?" I asked.
"We can explain everything later." He tried pushing me out of the vehicle.
"No! Whatever it is, I need to know." I shoved his hands away and took a step towards him.
"This isn't the time, Angel, you need to—" I cut him off sternly.
