I was sitting on a swing, kicking my short legs back and forth to go higher. The sun was out and it was a warm summer day in California, hardly any clouds visible. I heaved a frustrated sigh and pouted, my tiny hands gripping the chain.

Someone came up to me and gave me a push so I'd have a starter. I kicked my legs back and forth, their hands on my back again pushing me forward to make me go higher. A smile formed on my face and I told them to make me go higher.

"Higher, Dad!" I said. "Higher!"

"Alright, little sunshine." He chuckled. I could almost feel him smiling behind me.

The memory faded to something I didn't recognize. Or someone. I was standing in a narrow hallway that was dimly lit. Light shined on their face and I took a step back, and noticed I was my regular age. He smiled sadly at me and turned away, walking towards the light from behind him. I stood still for a second until fear crept up on me and I reached out for him realizing what was happening.

"Wait!" I called, trying to grab the back of his aviator jacket. "Don't go! Please!"

My hand tried to grasp it, but passed right through. I stared at my hand and looked up seeing he was still walking away, then faded into the light.

"No!" I shot up reaching out at air and panted.

A knock sounded at my door and someone called me from the other side. Several other voices behind it like they were running to go somewhere.

"We're gonna leave in a couple hours, Angel!" I heard Sun call from the other side.

"Y-Yeah, I'm almost ready!" I wasn't even out of bed yet.

He didn't respond so I figured he went off and finished getting ready for the flight along with everyone else. My eyes darted around and I snatched my phone from the nightstand, about to message someone, but hesitated. I haven't spoken to them since.....

"Idiot." I muttered to myself, closing my eyes and sighed, putting my phone back.

-

"Ladies and gentlemen, we will soon land. Please fasten your seat belts." A flight attendant said over the intercom.

My eyes slit open and I realized I fell asleep on Sun's shoulder. I closed my eyes and groaned when he poked my face.

"Start waking up, Ange, we're gonna land in a couple minutes." He whispered.

"Fine." I lifted my head and rubbed my exhausted face and eyes, pulling my seat belt over and clicking it in.

My gaze went to my feet and I felt something wet fall down my cheek. I wipe away the stray tear, wondering if it had anything to do with the dream I just had. I can't remember it though.

Soon after, we descended and I held onto the arm rests and braced for the landing. Every time I've flown, the landings were always tougher than the take off with or without turbulence. We were grounded and I sighed, unbuckling and standing up to grab my duffel and Sun's from the overhead. I handed him his and slung mine over my shoulder, getting my backpack from my seat and walking through the aisle following Sun out with the others close behind.

We got into a taxi and spent the rest of the time heading to my apartment where we'd hang out for a while then head home. The hour long ride was shorter than expected and we all walked up the steps in the building. I was in front while Sun, Joseph, Carter, Adam, Lance, Jacob and Kyle were behind me. I pulled out my keys and went inside.
