WAYO'S POV

Mom and her pack left to head home about 20 minutes ago and the house is now very quiet without the six extra bodies that were filling it to the brim. To say I was surprised when I saw all of them trooping downstairs with their bags in hand is an understatement. Honestly, I didn't expect them to leave until after dinner time, so seeing them ready to go hours early was a bit of a shock.

Mom explained by saying daddy called whining about how much he missed her and that he wanted her to come home a little early if she could. Since we had already talked about everything we needed to over the last couple days, she agreed. I'm sure she left early because she missed him too, even if she won't admit it.

As we were saying our goodbyes she slipped me a small spray bottle of what looked like clear liquid and smelled faintly minty. Looking at it in confusion, I asked, "What's this?"

"It's cologne. I had it made as a surprise for Ming." She tells me with a crazed giggle. "Promise me you'll spray some on him when he goes on his first date with his Kitty. Ok?"

Oh geez, that giggle is never a good sign. However, knowing mom would never do something to hurt Ming's chances with Kit, I agree, "Ok, mom. I'll remember."

The guys and I are now sitting in the living room relaxing while trying to figure out what to do with our unexpected free evening. We're tossing around several plausible ideas when my phone notification sounds distracting me from the conversation.

Pulling my phone out of my back pocket, I pull up Line and bite my lower lip to hold in the smile when I see who the sender is. Standing, I tell the guys, "I'll be back in a minute." Then I race upstairs to my bedroom and shut the door. Throwing myself across the bed, I get comfortable, then re-read the messages.

Pha: I've been thinking of you. Were you thinking of me? It doesn't matter because I know you are now. I hope you're having a good time with your mom.

Shaking my head at his obvious flirting, I think about what to reply before typing in several messages then erasing them. Finally settling on one that doesn't make me sound to flirty or like I miss him, I send it.

Yo: It's been good having her here, but I'm ready to get back to my normal routine. I might have thought of you once or twice.

Pha: Once or twice... a day? An hour? A minute? Probably a minute, right? Because I'm awesome.

Wow! I don't even know what to say to that. I can only smile and shake my head.

Pha: I'm ready for you to get back to your routine too, since it means you'd be here with me. It's very lonely here without you.   ◔̯◔

Yo: How can you be lonely, you have 20-30 people there with you?

Pha: But they're not you... and only seeing you can cure my loneliness.

OK, that was totally cheesy, but I can't contain the enormous smile that slips over my lips. Touching my chest, I can feel my heart racing from the giddy feeling his words cause. It's almost like there are bubbles bouncing around inside me and it feels amazing. Dropping the phone onto the bed, I roll around like a silly kid, before snatching it back up again and re-reading the messages several more times.

Thinking about my options, I jump out of bed and pick out a nicer outfit than what I currently have on to lounge around the house in. I've decided on my plans for this evening and now I have to get ready.

--------------------

We're on our way to the practice area and the nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach just won't go away. I'm not sure what my reception will be when I get there since I wasn't supposed to show up there today. However, once the idea of going to see him got into my head I couldn't let it go.
