Chapter Thirteen

Shailene POV:

Today is my first day home from the hospital.
The boys are asleep and Theo helps me up the stars.
I lay my head on Theo's chest as we watch TV.
I hear the doorbell ring.
"You stay here. I'll answer it." Theo says.
I nod.
Theo gets up and walk out.
I hear running up the stairs.
"Where's Shailene?"
It's Clementine and Clover.
They barges in our room and hug me.
"Congratulations on becoming a mother!" They yell.
I laugh.
"Thank you." I say.
"Can We see them?" Clementine ask me.
"Sure."
I get up and walk to the twins room.
They're eyes are open but they aren't crying.
Clementine and Clover sanitize their hands and pick them up.
"Ian and Brent." I say.
Theo climbs up the stairs.
"Gee, some sisters you are." He says coming to my side. "Pushed me on the floor just to find Shailene."
I laugh.
Theo wraps his arm around my waist.
"They are so cute."
Clementine and Clover put them back in their cribs.
Clementine ruffles Theo's hair
"Our baby brother finally has children." Clover says in a baby voice.
I giggle.
"Ha-ha." Theo says.
"Aww you know we love you." Clementine says.
They hug.
"Alright. We have to be on our way." Clover says.
"Thanks for the visit." I say.
They smile and walk out.
