Chapter 28

Shailene's POV:

Violetta offered to babysit the boys since it's mine and Theo's anniversary.

Theo isn't home yet. I don't know were he went.

I walk up the stairs and into the bedroom.

Around the bed, are rose petals, and on the dresser are two lit candles.

"Happy anniversary, beautiful," Theo says kissing my cheek. "It took you long enough. I thought I'd have to ask you to get me a tie or something."

I grin and give him a kiss on the lips.

He puts his hand on my waist and I wrap my hand around his neck.

As we kiss, we walk to the bed.

Theo on top of me.

We continue to kiss.

Theo pulls back.

"It's getting a little hot don't you agree?" he asks.

Then he takes off his shirt.

I smile as he tugs at my blouse.

He slips it off.

We begin kissing again.

The rest of our clothes slip off and I reckon, you know what happens next.

I wake up the next morning laying on Theo's chest.

He strokes my head and I look up at him.

"Good morning, Beautiful," he says.

"Good morning, Charming," I say.

I give him a peck on the lips.

My phone vibrates and I grab it.

I can watch the boys today too... Theo filled me in on your little adventure -Violetta

You would be a lifesaver and I'm going to talk to him about that -Shai

I put my phone down.

"You told Violetta?" I ask.

"Keep in mind I was half a sleep."

I laugh.

He rubs circles on my bare shoulders.

"Why don't we take a shower and I can take you out for brunch?"

"Sounds great," I say.

He gets up first and walk to the bathroom and After a while, he comes out.

Then it's my turn.

I walk to the shower and turn the knobs so the water comes out warm and I step in.

I hum to the tune of When You Wish Upon A Star.

"When you wish upon a star, make no difference who you are. Anything your heart desires, will come to you," Theo sings.

I smile as he sings and I hum.

I turn off the shower and get out drying my skin.

Theo has gone downstairs.

I put on a white sundress with white flats and I walk down.

Theo is turned around and is playing a game on his phone.

"Theo, I'm ready," I say.

He turns around.

"You look beautiful," he says.

"I know," I say.

"Cocky."

"I'm kidding."

He kisses me briefly, "I know you are."

We walk out to the car and Theo opens the door for me.

I smile at him and step in.

I sit with Theo eating an egg white omelet and drinking a wine glass full of sparkling water.

"Do you ever miss the old days?" I ask Theo.

"What do you mean?"

"Like before we were married?"

Theo laughs, "Like when I pulled your pants down on the Ferris wheel on the set of Divergent?"

"You said, you didn't look... We all knew you looked."

He laughs, "And when I walked into your trailer when you were getting dress."

I laugh.

"I do miss those days," he says. He grabs my hand. "But being married to you makes up for it."

He brings my hand up to his mouth and kisses my knuckles.

"Awwwwwww," we hear.

We turn to see people looking at us and we laugh.

I look at my wedding ring.

"I always find you admiring something other then me," Theo jokes.

"Haha. Who's cocky now?"

He laughs and kisses my cheek.
