Chapter Twins

Shailene POV:

I wake up, rush to the bathroom, and throw up. I groan as I get off the floor and climb into the shower.
I get out of the shower and walk back to my room and I get dressed.
I put on a Lace Patch Round Neck Cotton Green Dress. I walk downstairs.
I see Theo, Miles, Ansel, Zoe, and Megan.
"Oh joy." I say sarcastically.
"Hey!" They say obviously offended.
"You know I'm kidding. I have to love you. If I don't who will?"
"Hey! That was a backhanded compliment!" Megan yells.
"I'm kidding. You know I love you."
I hear knocking at the door.
"People!" I yell excitedly.
Miles and Ansel look at me strangely.
"What? I can't be excited about people?" I say and walk to the door.
I open the door and both our families are here.
"Shailene!" My moms yell. (Theo's and mine.)
I kiss both of their cheeks.
"Shai!" Arabella yells hugging me.
I hug back.
Tanner, Bradley, Jacob, Clover, and Clementine engulf me in a hug.
I smile as we walk inside and begin our brunch.
When everyone is sitting down talking and I walk to the front of the room with Theo.
"Everyone. I have something to tell you." I say loudly. "I'm pregnant."
"Yay!" Everyone yells.
"My baby is having a baby." My mom says.
"Our babies having a baby."
"Your babies are having babies."
"There are two?" My mom asks.
"Twins." I say.
"I'm so happy for you two!" Clover exclaims.
I smile.
This went better than planned.

Three Weeks Later:

I just came home from work and I lay down in my couch.
"I swear, this couch never felt so comfortable." I say.
I am just so tired nowadays, I have to use the bathrooms more, and I'm getting bigger.
I snapped at my assistant today. She understands because I'm pregnant and all the hormones.
"Honey, I'm home!" Theo yells jokingly.
I laugh.
"I'm on the couch." I yell back. "Wait before you come, can you please put the pretzel sticks on a plate and bring them to me?"
"Alright!"
He walks over with the plate.
"Thank you, Theo." I say.
I finish them.
"You were right. They aren't as good as the twisted ones." I say.
"See?"
"Well time for strawberries and whip cream."
I get up and walk to the kitchen.
I put some strawberries in a bowl and spray whip cream over it.
I begin eating them.
"Aww. None for me?" Theo asks pouting.
I spray the whip cream in his face and laugh.
"Shai. Come give me a big kiss." Theo says and kisses me.
Getting whip cream on my face.
I giggle as Theo picks me up.
I pick up the paper towel and whip the whip cream off both our faces.
I feel my eyelids become droopy.
Theo kisses my forehead.
"Good night, Shailene."
Pregnancy is a weird, weird experience.
