Shailene POV:

Theo's been in the garden all day. Looking at his phone.
I walk outside to him.
"I got a movie offer," he says.
"Theo that's--"
"In Australia."
Horrible. I finished my sentence in my head.
That's horrible.
I sit down next to him.
"Are you going to take it?" I ask.
"I don't know. I have a family and if I leave I'll miss some of their biggest milestones."
"Video call, emails letters," I say trying to stay positive.
Theo sits me in his lap.
"I don't want to leave you guys," he says.
"I don't want you to leave. But you can't stop your career for us. First, who's the director."
"Paul Feig."
"He's really good."
"Yea."
"Theo take it. It's okay."
He kisses me.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"I'll be fine."
The twins begin crying and I walk to the house.

I wipe the tear away.
I bite my lip and run into the house.
He can't stay back because of us.
