Shai's POV:

Eight months down, one more to go.

Theo and I decided to keep the baby's gender a surprise.

But we are going to tell the boys.

Theo and I sit Ian and Brent down.

"Boys. Daddy and I have something to tell you," I say.

"You know how Uncle Tanner and I are siblings."

"You brother, he sister?"

Theo laughs, "Something like that."

"Well you two are going to have a little brother or sister," I say.

"Bwother!" they both yell.

As soon as they said that, I frowned.

What if I give birth to a girl and they don't like her?

What if they think I don't love them anymore because I am taking care of the third baby?

What if they hate their little sibling?

"Or a sister," Theo says.

"Bwother!" they begin chanting.

I get up and walk to the patio.

I put my hand on my abdomen.

"They'll get used to you. Boy or girl. They will love you," I say. "Because Daddy and I love you."

I feel a pair strong arms wrap around my waist. Or my belly.

"They'll accept him or her," he says.

He kisses my cheek.

"What if--"

"Shai. No what ifs."

I sigh.

"Think of the good," he says.

He kisses me.

----

I get up the next morning and rush to the bathroom.

I made an unpleasant sound.
