ITALICS=RUSSIAN
You had climbed back up a fire escape, perched on the building where you could see the relentless attack against Peter going on. You had one knee bent to the ground with your arm slumped over it, waiting. You were waiting for the perfect moment to get the element of surprise-the only way you'd have a chance.
When you could see Peter giving up the ghost, you decided that the wait was over.
You dropped down, kicking the 7 foot giant to the floor, before trying multiple disarming tactics you'd learnt in boxing.
Don't give anything away
Your subconscious screamed, willing you to preform such stunts that you hadn't done since 13. You shook the thoughts off, not letting yourself become distracted. The man got back up, realising now he had two opponents.
"The Shadow seeps out" The man said with a heavy voice manipulator on. He spoke in Russian, and you simply nodded
"I'm more interested about why you're here" You spoke back in a level headed tone, swiftly catching him off guard with a kick to the stomach and a punch to the gut. The man just laughed.
"The Shadow lost her touch, I see"
"I never loose, I win slower"
You played dirty and kicked him in the place God made to be treated with kindness, making him automatically fall to the ground in pain.
"No children for you, buddy!" Spiderman spoke up, keeping his eyes on you. You grabbed his hand, pulling him away from the man rolling on the floor. You let go of his hand when you were safe, speed walking away from him, as fast as you could-hoping to run away from your problem, and your problem at the moment was Peter Parker.
"Y/n! Y/n!" He called out for you, but you kept walking at the same pace, if not faster.
"What the hell just happened?!" He asked you again, his voice high pitched. You would have answered him, but you were terrified to even look behind
"The Shadow? Is that the name you'll answer too?!" He sounded more upset than angry, and that's when you turned around."Don't call me that!" You snapped
"Why?"
"Because that's what they made me into, Peter" You answered harshly. Peter's suit eyes changed.
"The Golden Circle? You were with those maniacs?!" Peter asked, stepping closer to you, but you only moved further away.
"I was one of those maniacs" You scoffed "two years, and they never saw me. I went under the radar and now? Now they want me again." You sat down on the side of the road. Peter sat beside you in his suit, taking your hand his his.
"If we're going to be a team on this, it's me, you and Ned. I'm not having it any other way." He said, the wide white eyes of his suit showing, somehow, emotion.
The two of you sat in the side of the road, on the sidewalk curb, until you felt calmed and comfortable. You'd thought you could've gone to your grave with the secrets you kept, but hiding them from close ones slowly killed you inside, making you more depressed as the day went by.
"When I was in Russia, they found me. The things that were done to me...to other people too, it was enough to drive you mad. I made an oath to them: an oath of loyalty-and I broke it. We moved to Africa on assignment and then went to England to hide. They want me dead for betrayal, Peter. I can't be yours and Ned's friend anymore. It's too much of a risk." You say, trying not to cry.
"Y/n, there's no risk to me. And you're not our friend: you're our best friend." Peter said, still holding your hand. You leant into him, allowing him to wrap an arm around you, holding you close.
