A/n I know, I'm evil, but I tried out a new "texting" style down the chapter, let me know if you like it or nah

"We need to call her family" Steve said, breaking the mournful silence

"She doesn't have any. Her dad just told her she was taken as a baby." Tony said from up front

"Then call Peter's parents-wasn't she staying with him?" Steve asked, and Tony nodded

"His parents died. He lives with his Aunt and Y/n. I'll tell her in person-it's easier that way for her" Tony said, sighing. He decided to try and trace any record of Y/n.

Y/n Kravinoff

BIRTH DATE: 5th March 1908

DEATH DATE: 8th September 1956

Obviously another Y/n. Maybe a distant relative? Tony put his head in his hands, trying to think even though his mind was still processing the fact she was gone. What hospital was she born in? Peter said she lived in Africa until 5-was she born there?

DIANI BEACH HOSPITAL: No records of Y/n Kravinoff

DAR AL FOUAD: No records of any Y/n's at all.

Tony got F.R.I.D.A.Y to check the rest of the hospitals in Africa, but she came back only moments later, saying there was no record of her. He checked London hospitals, and nothing under the name "Kravinoff" came up.

Tony was at a crossroads. Steve was sitting with Natasha, who was holding Wanda. She had been crying a lot, but not as much as Peter had been. Wanda felt like she understood the girl and her troubles, but she was killed too soon and too quick for them to become friends. The rest of the team either sparred to get their emotions out, or sat quietly reflecting. Peter was so drained emotionally that he still slept in an uncomfortable sleep.

Y/n had been presumed dead at the scene, but they insisted they should airlift her to hospital. They covered up bodies with sheets, and told the Avengers to follow them to the hospital if they wanted to see her.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y, scan for anyone with the name "Y/n Kravinoff"" Tony said, becoming sceptical of Y/n's origins. Sure, her dad said she was taken-but wouldn't there be some sort of record of her existence?

"Boss, the only results were a 60 year old woman in Russia and a toddler born 2016..." She said, and Tony rubbed his eyes. He brought up Y/n's Instagram, looking for any clues or hints to her true identity. In one of the photos, there was a birthmark on her wrist. It didnt tell him much, but he felt like he could draw something from this.

"Ok...scan every computer, website and social media on the globe for any picture that matches that birthmark. I don't care if I break a law." He demanded, sitting back in his seat.

"Boss, the only result came from your computer." She said, making Tony sit on the edge of the pilot's seat.

Steve sat alone now, wringing his hands out. Wanda had calmed down, so Nat had left her alone to mourn. She was sparring with Clint, taking turns to kick each other in an unenthusiastic fight. Steve hated losing people before it was their time to go naturally. Ever since he got out of the ice, he had a fear of loss. Even though you had only known him for a matter of days, he hated the fact you died prematurely-on the battlefield, by your own father, as well.

He was cracking his knuckles out of habit.

"You'll get arthritis, ice pop" Sam said, sitting down next to him. Sam had seen you lowest moments in that jail, which made you feel like you could trust him. In fact, after Peter, he was the person on the team you trusted the most.
