Neal was half an hour late, this time when he buzzed the doorbell of the Eden manor. The door opened seconds later. A boy, almost as tall as him, stared back at him with bright blue eyes. His hair was platinum blond, the roots a darker shade of golden that gave away his real hair color. Before Neal could say anything, the boy turned his head towards the stairs and smiled rather creepily at something.

"Come on in." He whipped his head towards him almost comically and grinned, looking so much like Julia. This had to be Charles Eden, her younger brother.

As Neal stepped inside, he stole a glance at the staircase. Julia stood with a confused expression, still looking so pretty, wearing a champagne colored satin off-the shoulder top and tight white pants that hugged her curves at all the good places. He offered her a smile trying not to look like a creep checking her out.

Julia was doing the same though. Even though, she didn't like Chuck's 'you're busted' expression, she took her time to look at Neal. He was immaculately dressed in a checkered shirt, blue jeans, white trainers and a black and gold Sekonda de luxe around his wrist. Nothing was out of place excluding a curl hanging over his freckled forehead. He had ditched the hair products.

"Neal, this is my brother Chuck."

His head turned to Chuck and Julia leaned against the railing, watching as they greeted each other coolly. Gray eyes stared at her in attention when she called him, continuing, "I'll just grab my purse. And, Chuck, be nice."

"Sure." Her brother beamed at her before watching her turn on her suede ankle wrap heeled sandals. She returned with her off-white leather shoulder bag, fast, trying not to give Chuck more time to ask Neal any sort of questions.

But when she walked out of the manor with Neal, she knew that Chuck had interrogated him somewhat. And Neal seemed just as distant as he had been the first time they went out on a dinner. There was no way she was asking him anything about that.

While he drove, he left the sound system on.

The voice sounded like Elena Tonra from the band 'Daughter'.

Cause this is torturous. Electricity between both of us. And this is dangerous. Cause I want you so much. But I hate your guts.

She sang the saddest shits. Jesus, who hurt you?

"Turn right," Julia said, when he attempted to take the wrong turn into the Garrick Street. Yet he didn't speak.

They finally reached their destination. Neal, however, climbed out first to open her door. The red Chinese letters over the 'Lanzhou Noodle Bar' glowed in LED lights. It was a cheap place to eat. His confusion was expected since Julia had suggested the place. This was famous for their hand pulled noodles here. As they went in, a clean-looking lad making the fresh noodles, acknowledged them.
