The first semester in Oxford has already started. Balancing between studying to become a lawyer and life in general, Julia Eden has found herself sitting across from a shrink, or in better words: a psychologist.
It only gets worse when the old man s...

Okay. Julia might have overreacted. Yes, she had definitely done exactly that. Now that she was sober and thinking properly, embarrassment clutched her so tightly that she couldn't look at her own reflection the next morning after she showered.
Back at home, when she had finally calmed down, she had called Neal and he hadn't picked up. When she tried the second time, his phone was switched off.
How fucking pathetic was that?
Next morning, before the mass, she had tried again. No response.
"Go in peace to love and serve the Lord," Father Laird spoke in his microphone before moving away from the podium.
"Thanks be to God!"
Julia stood, smiling at the other choir girls who came from different colleges and schools.
Noah was in his uniform, sitting at the same exact spot he had always been, shifting uncomfortably when she ignored his smile. The choir sang, her mouth moving with them as she watched Noah scratch the back of his neck. Following the other girls, she turned the page of her booklet, singing along. When she looked up, Noah's gaze was fixated on her, unsmiling and suddenly it seemed like he knew precisely what she was thinking.
Once it was over, she grabbed her uniform jacket from the coat stand in the Father's chamber and made her way quickly towards the driveway, fast enough so that Noah couldn't realize that she was gone already or Nicholas could suggest a sacred act of confession to the Father.
She stood before her parents' car, scrolling through her phone and waiting.
"Hey."
Excellent.
Noah came out of the church, probably ditching Helen and smiled. "You look nice."
"Thanks." Julia looked down at her feet.
"I called you yesterday."
"Um, I was busy," She forced out with a smile. "My father had this event in the firm."
"Oh. There they are," he grinned, brown eyes luminous on their mothers as they came out of the building. Noah turned to her. "Come on, I'll drive you to college."
"It's okay."
He just rolled his eyes before taking her hand and raising it to show her mum.
"Cissy, I got her."
Narcissa grinned, "She's all yours, Noah."
Julia tried to jerk her hand away from Noah. He, on the other hand, looked nothing like he was offended, instead, he just laughed it away.
