It took Olivia a whole week to realize that she liked Cassidy Dubois. And when she said like, she meant it in a 'like' like way. Wanting to get to know her in a biblical sense had been a very shocking realization for Olivia. They had been together to several place and Cassidy had been friendly to her, but what was very refreshing was the fact that she simply didn't show Olivia the pity that everyone seemed to.
By the time, they had shopped and eaten together the first time, they knew a great deal about each other. Clearly, Cassidy knew more than Liv. That was one thing that Liv had learnt about herself throughout the years. She was thoroughly predictable. She didn't know if Cassidy could tell that she liked her though. Fooling around was one thing and fooling around with girls was another. And she's never thought about this before.
But now, since the Sunday morning began, all sorts of typical lesbian porno situations had been crossing Olivia's mind.
Cassidy was here, lying in her bed, her long pale legs on display. She had discarded her black Chanel leather boots on the carpeted floor.
Liv knew there would be a great deal of gossip and speculation about her relationship with Cassidy if something ought to happen between them. Had a bad feeling about it too, like she's been flying too close to the Icarus, but not the way she used to feel back when George used to look at her with his icy blue eyes.
George? She hadn't thought about him in a while. Not after Cassidy had barged into her life out of nowhere. What was so beautiful about Cassidy?
She reminded Olivia of Kate Winslet circa 1990, the slightly chubby cheeks and the permanent flush there. And there was her gorgeous golden hair that fell on her shoulder in a very Luna Lovegood way. In a way, Cassidy was like her, only taller with the perfect set of breasts that Liv had only seen once when she was in the changing room while shopping and asked Liv's help for the zipper. If anything, Liv felt creepier than ever from the way she kept on acting around Cassidy. There were times she would just look at the hollow of her throat or the way her chest stuck out in that green bodycon dress she wore for Noah's birthday.
Olivia, you creep.
"Hi." She smiled as she walked inside her room. Cassidy was lying in her bed, arms stretched out, comfortable.
"Hi, where have you been?" Cassidy shot up on her elbows and paused the Pirates of the Caribbean on the telly.
"Got this." Liv grinned, and held up a glittery bong . When Cassidy remained mute and stared skeptically, she guiltily added, "You don't smoke, do you?"
"No, I do. It's just-" Cassidy threw a surprised look at her. "I didn't think you smoked. You seem..."
"Like I haven't even had my first kiss yet?" Liv climbed up onto her bed, her pale legs growing red at the knees from the friction and raised her thin red eyebrows which looked almost a shade lighter from her hair.
