The reason Julia had skipped college after lunch a week after Neal and she had made up in her bedroom, was to see Neal before he was going to his father's office for the campaign work and not coming out until midnight.

Consequences be damned.

Julia liked looking at Neal. Each time she seemed to find some sort of new thing she hadn't noticed earlier. There was that tiny faint cut under his right cheekbone that he got when he fell from his bike as an eleven year old. There was that tiny black spot behind his right ear she had discovered while playing with his hair one night. Julia had read somewhere that it meant good luck.

Julia liked talking to him as well. Each time they would bring up a topic, he would know at least something worth knowing about. And she wondered if there was anything he didn't know. Well, nobody knew everything but she liked how he knew more than anyone she knew.

One week or so had passed and they had been done going for dinner several times, had attended art exhibitions, and had spent endless time in his and her room, concentrating on which mattered the most: making out.

Neal Williams was a coolass guy. Smart and sexy. Calm and uncomplicated. Excellent kisser. Big penis.

Yes, she had seen it.

And no, they weren't fucking.

Not yet, anyway.

Neal arrived half an hour later, after Julia had come home from college. As fast as she could, she ran to the foyer, opened the door, swung her arms around his neck and kissed him.

"I was making a milkshake. Do you want one?" She asked as she pulled away, her hand clutching his, dragging him to the kitchen.

"Sure." He smiled and stood behind her, breathing down her neck. She scooped two more scoops of icecream into the liquidizer.

"Is that Neal I see there?" It was her father's voice, right outside the door, causing Neal to move away from her.

Nicholas Eden walked in with his million-watt smile. Yes, father shipped it.

"How are you doing, son?"

Both of them sat across from each other, on the breakfast stools while Julia focused on the milkshake.

"I'm doing well, Nicholas. Thank you for asking," Neal smiled, resting both hands on the marble of the counter.

"Julia, can I have a glass of that?" Nicholas’s blue eyes similar to hers were on her now.
