Chapter Forty Six

Kimberley's POV:

"See you tomorrow, night girls." I wave the girls off before walking back to the room to see Cheryl, already fast asleep, cuddled up with an equally tired Marley.

"Aw, tired buddy?" He yawns making me laugh as i cover them both over and slide in myself.

"Kimba? Babe, wake up." I groan softly, rolling on to her back and squinting from the sun shining through the now opened curtains.

"Mmm, what time is it?" I ask, seeing how the sun has only just come up.

"Nearly 6."

"What the?! Why are you up?"

"I'm gonna go for a run or a walk, do you want to come? You have some joggers here?"

"Um... fine."

"You don't have too, i don't mind going alone? I just didn't want you to freak out when you got up, seeing i wasn't there?"

"No, i'll come. Give me five minutes." Swinging my legs out of bed, i quickly get ready as Cheryl plays with Marley, attaching his lead.

"Ready?" I nod and head off after her, my sleepiness not wearing off.

She's been quite quiet since we set off although she hasn't let go of my hand, she gave me a look of confirmation when she intertwined her hands but i gave her hand a soft squeeze and she seemed content enough.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Everything..."

"A little more detail?"

"Honestly?"

"Yeah?"

"Us."

"Oh, what's up?"

"Where do we go from here?"

"I'm not completely sure, i've told you many times to concentrate on getting better but everytime i say it, suddenly something comes up and we're back in the beginning. I can't keep going round in these circles..."

"So?"

"So let's start fresh today. You can concentrate on getting better but Chez if it happens again, i can't keep doing it. This is the last time, ok? I can't keep watching you repeatedly getting hurt because of other people, just take each day as it comes and fight."

"I can't lose you Kimberley."

"You won't have too if you just concentrate on getting better."

"Ok, a fresh start?"

"A fresh start." I confirm and press a kiss to her knuckles before she leans into me as we walk. In the nicest way this can be taken, i'm glad i've stood my ground and maybe even scared her into getting better. She knows this is the last chance.

Cheryl's POV:

Leaving Kimberley to wash Marley, i go down to the dance studio where i pass Tyler coming out.

"Hi." I whisper, he won't get to me. I won't let him.

"Hey, you ok?"

"Getting there, you?"

"Me too."

"I better hurry up, i haven't got long."

"Yeah sure, see you around." He mutters awkwardly before taking off. Well that was uncomfortable.

"Woo!" After around half an hour of none stop routines, i turn towards the door when i hear a cheer from Kimberley.

"Oh god, how long have you been stood there?!"

"10 minutes or so, looking good though babe!"

"Thanks, are the girls coming today?"

"Yeah, they should be here soon. Want to go grab something to eat?"

"Yeah sure, i- er- i bumped into Tyler on the way down."

"Oh? You did? Did he say anything?"

"He just said hi and asked if i was ok."

"Oh, ok."

"I didn't- well i just wanted to tell you so-"

"You don't have to explain Chez, aslong as he didn't hurt you."

"He didn't."

"Good, now let's get some food, my mini Beyonce." She jokes as i laugh.

"Woah babe, you've got the ass." I laugh as she playfully gasps before wrapping her arms around me and taking by surprise as she kisses me.

"Cheryl and Kimberley sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G, first comes love-" We hear Sarah sing as she wanders in the the girls earning a slap from Nadine.

"We're gonna go for lunch? Have you girls had something?"

"No, we'll join you."

After a long lunch with the girls and Lily, we take advantage of the warm weather and sit in the back letting Marley have a run around. I sit inbetween Kimberley's legs as the girls chat away to Lily about Alfie as he's due within the next hour.

"He'll be well excited to see you Chez, he was asking after you last time!"

"Aw, i love him! Will he be ok round Marley? Marley won't scare him, will he?"

"No, he'll love him. Marley will be scared of him by the end!"

"Aw, i'm excited now!" As soon as those words leave my mouth, i hear an excited squeal and see Alfie running towards Lily.

"MUMMY!"

"Hey you, have you been behaving for Grandma?" He nods his head quickly making me laugh, he's changed so much since i last saw him. He's so much more talkative but it has been a few months.

"Hey Alf, guess who's over there?" He turns around to look at Lily before following her pointed finger and his face lights up as he see's me.

"Hey there stranger!" I hold my hands out and he happily runs into them, kissing my cheek repeatedly.

"Cheryl! I miss you last time!"

"I know babe, i didn't know you was coming!"

"But i see you now?" I nod my head as he giggles sweetly before cuddling into me again.

"Hey Alfie, guess who else is here?"

"Who?"

"Kimberley got me a new puppy and i thought he might like to come say hi! Marley!" Marley runs over a little too fast with his tongue flopping out.

"Doggie!" Alfie shouts, fussing over Marley before chasing him off into the field.

"Told you he'd love him."

"Nads, throw that ball to Alfie." She does as i say as we all watch them both play in the field before i hear Kimberley whisper into my ear as i lean back.

"He's so cute!"

"He is."

"Not as cute as you though."

"Aw that was cheesy."

"Maybe it was."

"It was but i'm just happy we're ok."

"Me too, love you." I turn my head, kissing her, earning many 'aw's' and an obvious sick noise from Sarah.

"Love you too."

"Someone pass me a sick bucket."
