Chapter Forty One

Cheryl's POV:

"Morning Chezzabella!" Nicola shouts, skipping into my room.

"Hi Nic, where's Kimba?"

"She's got some dog food and stuff for Marley, she's just carrying it in with Sarah." She adds as she takes a seat, watching Marley nibble on my fingers on the bed.

"Why? Is everything ok?"

"What? Yeah, course..."

"Chez?" She raises her eyebrows and expects me to change my answer but i hear them all outside the door and shake my head.

"Morning missus." Kimberley leans down kissing me and sitting across from me, playing with Marley who's sat in between my legs.

"You alright?"

"Actually i need to speak to you... it's about Tyler."

"What? Did he come up here when he left?! What's happened?!"

"No, no, i haven't spoke to him." I whisper, looking down at Marley as i feel all the girls eyes on me.

"It's about the other day, the kiss?"

"Yeah, what?"

"It was me."

"Sorry, i'm not following?" She laughs as i finally meet her eyes, my eyes filling with tears.

"He didn't do anything, i kissed him. It was all me." She doesn't say anything for a minute or so, her eyebrows knitted together in a frown.

"But? But you said?"

"Yeah, i panicked. I thought you'd leave me but it was building up and i had to tell you all the truth."

"But why?"

"I was scared you'd leave me." Tears are flowing down my cheek and i can see Kimberley trying her best to keep hers in.

"No, why did you kiss him?"

"I- i don't know. It just happened."

"Things happen for a reason Cheryl, what was yours?! Come on?"

"I don't know?!" I cry as she stands up, the anger in her rising.

"So you kiss another person, lie to me about it and i stand there defending you liking an idiot! Were you all laughing at me behind my back or something?!"

"No, no! I spoke to him and told him what i said, he just wanted to- wanted to keep me happy."

"I can't believe this?! AFTER EVERYTHING WITH ASHLEY?!" She shouts as Nadine takes her hand, pulling her back slightly.

"Kimbers, calm down a bit hunny."

"NO! No, i won't stay calm! Why should i?! She's kissed another person?! And she's lied to me! Christ Cheryl, at least when Ashley cheated on you, he owned upto it!" That makes my tears fall even more, she's never spoke to me in such a disgusting way, it's not even as if i deserve it but she can't know.

"Kimbers-" Nadine warns again but she doesn't listen, Marley is trying to climb up my stomach but i'm too busy trying to wipe my downfall of tears away.

"God! 'Scared i'd leave you' I MIGHT HAVE UNDERSTOOD BUT YOU'VE LIED?! I don't understand that! I don't understand you! How could i be so stupid?! Did you ever even love me?!" She knows she's over reacting slightly but it's all come as a shock, a false one my that she can know that.

"What?! Kimberley, of course i loved you, i still do! I love you so much."

"Na Cheryl, you don't love someone you lie too."
