Chapter Fifty Three

Kimberley's POV:

"Baby, i'm home!"

The front door swings open and Tre comes running in, picking Cheryl up in his arms and spinning her down.

"Ah i'm so glad you're better babe, i didn't know you'd be out! Nicola rang last week and said you was getting better but i never thought you'd be out yet!" Cheryl seems to have frozen in shock as she just stares at him when he sets her back down. I shut the door awkwardly and smile at Tre who looks so happy.

"Um... Tre can i just have a quick word with Chez? I won't be long."

"Oh, um... yeah sure." He kisses her cheek but she makes no effort to move so i take her hand and pull her into the kitchen.

"Babe, are you okay?"

"Oh god Kim, what the hells just happened?!"

"It's gonna be okay, we can sort this. Just stay calm, ok?"

"I am, i'm trying." She breathes, taking a deep breath.

"This is a stupid question but um... what are you gonna do?"

"I'm not leaving you Kimberley."

"I know babe but-"

"I'm not leaving you."

"Right, ok well you need to break up with him or something then babe and pretty soon."

"I can't go home with him tomorrow, no i can't."

"How has he not seen on twitter?"

"He doesn't go on twitter, oh god i can't lie. I'm gonna have to tell him, i'm with you." She sighs again and i step up, taking her hand.

"Look we'll just have to be honest, come on. I'll be with you every step of the way." She nods and squeezes my hand before going back into the room to be met by Tre's smile.

"Tre, we need to talk." He looks puzzled for a second but nods and sits down across from her.

"Can we have a minute alone? Two minutes?" Cheryl says and i turn to her shocked, she's being strong for sure.

"Yeah, i'll just be in the kitchen." I smile at her and go to the kitchen, standing behind the door to hear every word.

Cheryl's POV:

"Tre, we can't be together." I say after plucking up a fair amount of courage.

"But- We could work it out." He says with hope in his voice but it's evident now that he knows just as much as me that it's not going to work.

"We can't Tre, i'm sorry and i- i'm-"

"What is it?"

"I love somebody else. I had to tell you, i can't lie."

"Oh, who?"

"Kimberley."

"Kimberley?! What? Wow..."

"Yeah, it's as messed up as me but she loves me back surprisingly."

"Well then i better go." He stands up and so do i, opening my arms for a hug.

"I'll pack my stuff back at the house, i can finally bring it back to my place in LA. Don't be a stranger though, Chez? And i wish you and Kimberley lots of happiness, you both deserve it."

"You too and the woman who gets to spend the rest of her life with you, is one lucky lady. Bye Tre."

"Bye Chez, Bye Kim." He shouts as i show him to the door and Kimberley comes out from the kitchen.
