*Fae's P.O.V.*

I searched through the endless amount of moving boxes, that were placed everywhere in my new room. I was looking for something to wear for tomorrows school day, but nothing really seemed to have on appeal on me. So at the end I just gave up, and decided to make it a problem tomorrow, because now I was only extremely tired of the boxes and a long day.

So I sprawled myself out on my bed, and looked out the window. It was already dark outside, and it was only the lights among the road that lid up the night. It looked like my old room's view to be honest. Thinking about it, my old room was only 5 minutes away, so it could actually be the same view.

We had decided to move to a new and bigger house, because nobody in my family didn't see why we shouldn't. My mom was pretty excited about this too, because she knew that my cousin, and her niece had gotten twins at such a young age, and she hoped that they were allowed to be here much more often, because we had gotten a bigger house now.

My sister suddenly came into the room, and sat down on my desk. She looked me straight in the eyes, and pulled her classes back on her nose tip, so they sat perfectly on her again.

"How was your first day?" She asked with a calm and steady voice like a parent would use. I rolled my eyes at her, and put my hands over my head.

"Emily, I know you just want me to make some friends, but I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me at all." I assured her, thinking I finally convinced her to get out of my business.

"You didn't have any social contact with anybody?" She asked sitting on the end of the bed.

Emily was always worried about me, because she thought I didn't have any friends and people didn't like me at my year. Well, I don't think the last past was true, but the first part was. And maybe people would think it sounded sad, but it was perfectly fine with me. I didn't have any good friends, but I did know people, and I could still interact with other humans, so I didn't really see the problem.

"I'm just saying this so I can shut you up, but yeah. I did have contact with another human, and we actually talked a lot, so don't come here and call me unsocial." I said. Of course I was talking about Ashton.

"Wait, are you for real? You talked to someone? What's her name?" She asked, popping her classes back on her nose again.

"It's not a girl, Emily. His name is Ashton."

"Okay, and now you're telling me you already got a boyfriend?" She said standing up from the bed. She threw her hands in the hair, and screamed at the top of her voice. I quickly covered my ears. It took mom and dad 2 seconds to show up in the door, looking worried at the situation.

"Fae's got a boyfriend!" she screamed happily.

And then all eyes were directed at me.

"He's not my boyfriend! I just asked after directions in school, and then he just had the same class as me." I explained, trying to calm my little sister down.

"Ugh you're no fun." She said and walked out with my parents.

Well, there we have my family.

"What's that?" Ashton asked me the next day at school. We were the only ones in the classroom, and Ashton had turned around 180 degres, and was now pointing at my notebook. He had discovered the drawings and doodles my book showed off on the front cover.

"Boredom" I simply said. It wasn't anything special, it was just the mix of a pen and a lot of time.

"No way, this is good. You must have practiced a lot." He said, and without a warning he took the notebook from my desk. I was just about to protest, when he opened it, and his eyes widened. He slowly turned to look at me dramatically.

"I have never even written that many letters in my whole life." He said while laughing. The page was filled with letters and word, each line falling into each other, making it hard to code what I had written.

"I don't want to use all the paper at once, I have been on that page the whole month!" I laughed with him.

The class slowly began to fill up, but me and Ashton continued to talk. Even though I had only known him for a couple of days, I knew that he was extremely easy to talk to, and I could always bring up the weirdest stuff, and he would just be on it.

I must admit that I really liked Ashton. Maybe not in the way my sister wanted me to, but he was really nice and kind, so I couldn't help but smile in his company.

"Hey, do you wanna grab some lunch?" Ashton asked just as the class ended, and all the other students quickly got on their feet. Before I could answer, we got dragged out in the hall by the other kids, and some guy stepped on my feet. I winced in pain, quickly earning the attention of Ashton.

"Hey! Watch where you step, idiot!" He called after the guy. The guy was in a football jacket, and he slowly turned around and flipped Ashton off.

"What a douche." I said.

*Ashton's P.O.V.*

I had literally dragged Fae all the way down to the cafeteria. I looked around for Michael, wondering why he weren't sitting at our normal table. I looked back at Fae, to ask if she had seen Michael, but I didn't meet her eyes at first. She was staring down at my hand around her wrist. I looked down at my hand too.

I couldn't help but smile, because my hand covered a massive area of her arm. As an instinct I lightly stroked her arm with my thumb, and she promptly turned her gaze upon me again, and I finally got her attention. But I didn't say anything.

It felt like we stood there for a long time, practically holding hands, until her look found something behind me. I turned around to see Michael standing behind me. He was chewing on a burger, smiling at me and Fae.

"What the hell..." he just said and turned around to go to our table. We followed him, and I sat down on the chair facing Michael. Fae looked a little lost and just sat down beside Michael. I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

"So Fae..." Michael asked. Michael and Fae hadn't seen each other since her first day of school, but I had told him her name, because we may or not have been talking about her.

"I wanted to ask you this since I met you the other day: how do you dye your hair, without completely ruinning it?"

She laughed and found her lunch in her bag,

"I haven't dyed my hair. This is how my hair looks." She said, my mouth falling wide agape.

"You're kidding me." I said, only to see her shake her head. Her hair spun around her head while she shook it. I couldn't believe it. It was such an odd natural color to own. But it was still one of the prettiest.

"Hey, Ashton. You never told me about that Calen guy you met at that party?" Michael said stuffing his face with food. Fae had a fascinated look on her face while she watched him eat his food.

"Calum. Well, he told me was quite good with a bass. Maybe he could fit in in the thing we started." I told him. He gave me a thoughtful look, then raised his shoulders, as to say "why not?".

"You're in a thing? Like band?" Fae asked.

"I wouldn't call it a band. We still prefer the word 'thing'" Michael mentioned. Me and Fae laughed along on point again, and Michael gave as an confused look.

"You guys are weird. I'm deadly serious."
