*Fae's P.O.V.*
"I don't get the point to be honest." I said and sighed.
"Well I don't either, but it's quite fun." Ashton answered and I could hear him giggle. I was swung over his shoulder, my stomach resting on his shoulder, and my legs hanging down his body. I still didn't get the point.
"You certainly know how to pick up girls." I joked. He just ignored me, and continued to walk down the hall of the school. I couldn't really see what was coming from forward, but I could see all the feet pointing directly at us, so I guessed we had caught some attention. Or Ashton had. I didn't know what the hell he was doing. He had just picked me up.
"Hey Michael." I heard his loud voice call. I couldn't see him anywhere, but what could I really see but the floor and Ashton's butt.
Nice view.
"What's up?" I heard Michael's voice say nearby. When Ashton stopped I needed to fist the back of his shirt to protect me from not falling down.
"Hi, Fae. I like how you look today." He said, with what I could only assume was a smirk. A clear reference to the point that he could only see my ass. I just waved at him.
But then Ashton suddenly let me down. He placed me beside him, and swung an arm around me.
"Do you guys wanna come by at my place after school?" Ashton asked both me and Michael.
And without hesitation I flashed a big smile. I had never been home at Ashton's, and he had never been at my home, so I already couldn't wait to see how lovely his place probably was.
"Sure, that would be great." I answered with a thrilling voice. Michael nodded too, agreeing to give out his company to us.
I really liked this little group we had formed. Me, Michael and Ashton. It was obvious that I loved spending time with Ashton, but I sure as hell liked to spend it with Michael too. He was a great guy for sure.
So after we agreed to meet in the front of the school after our last period, we parted our ways and went to separate classes. I had to be honest - all classes without the view of Ashton's neck in it wasn't even worth it.
The only exciting thing that happened during that class, was that I actually turned my page in my messy notebook. Ashton would love to hear that.
I met Ashton and Michael just where we had planned (after being misled down a wrong hall because they all looked the same).
Ashton turned around and when he saw me, his eyes instantly brightened and a huge grin spread across his face. My face probably looked the same.
"Do you live nearby?" I asked Ashton.
"Yeah, we can walk."
And then we just stared at each other, until Michael awkwardly coughed, and got us out of our trance.
"Well this is getting awkward." He said and turned around to walk.
Me and Ashton just laughed, but then he grabbed my hands, with asking eyes to ask if it was okay. I guess it was, we were soon going out anyways.
Michael turned around and saw our intertwined hands, and tilted his head to the side.
"Aw, that's cute." He said.
He then grabbed Ashton other hand, leaving me to crack up of laughter.
"What the hell, dude." Ashton asked raising his eyebrows.
"I wanted to join! Besides I can't cross the road without holding your hand, you know that." Michael answered innocently. Ashton just shook his head, but didn't let go of either of our hands.
We continued to walk down the pathway to Ashton's house, still holding hands, and laughter filling the space between us.
I then decided to let go of Ashton's hand. I ran a few meters ahead of them, and then turned around to look at their confused faces.
"Aww, now it looks a bit different I laughed.
Ashton and Michael turned their confused faces towards each other, still not catching up. Until they both widened their eyes, and looked down at their intertwined hands. They quickly jumped away from each other.
"Come on, you looked so cute." I said still laughing harder than I ever had before.
"Bro."
"Dude."
"Don't do that."
"Don't do that either."
They then gave each a side eye, and smacked their hands together and clapped each other's back, still not looking directly in each other's eyes.
Ashton then walked up to my right side, taking my right hand with his left hand. He then lifted his arm onto my shoulder, still holding my hand in his. Michael walked up to my other side, a little more space between him and me, than between me and Ashton.
"I live there." Michael said pointing towards a house at the other side of the road.
"And I live here." Ashton said pointing to the house just next to us.
"Well now I know how you guys became friends."
We walked up Ashton's front yard to the beautiful house he lived in.
Suddenly my eyes went to a girl in the neighbours yard. She was staring at me, not unfriendly but she had a smile on her face.
Ashton went to unlock the door, and Michael came up on me from behind.
"That's Maia. Sweet girl, she and Ashton had a thing though." He said, and then he just left into the unlocked house.
I looked at the girl again. She had long brown hair, and she was watering her plants in what I assumed was her garden. Even though she was working, she still looked gorgeous.
Ashton waved at her with a smile, which she politely returned. He then looked at me, and nodded his head towards the door.
"Oh right, yes. I'm coming inside now."
A thing? What could that mean. It could mean a lot to be honest.
I walked up to Michael, and decided him to ask him about the girl, Maia, and what he meant. Not because I was jealous, I was just curious.
"What do you mean by thing?"
He then smiled, raised his hands, formed a circle with two of his fingers on one hand, and stuck a finger through it.
Oh.
