Staring at the shoe box filled with letters that Bouchra had sent him and the results letter from the paternity test, he couldn't believe that his ex-wife had kept these from him; he had never expected that she would hide this from him.

Wayne sat on the couch across from him staring at the Dutchman, he couldn't believe that this had happened to his friend; he had met Paige briefly and had to admit that he liked her more than Bouchra.

“So Alisha is yours?” Wayne asked making Robin nod his head as he closed his eyes, he didn't know what to think of the fact that he had three children; Paige had insisted that he would be a part of their daughter’s life no matter what.

“What are you going to do?” Wayne asked as he watched his friend, he could see that Robin was still in shock that he had an older daughter; he had always spoke about Paige and it was clear that he loved her still after all these years.

“I’m meeting with them for lunch,” Robin said making the Scouser nod his head, he had been hurt to learn that Paige had married and that he was a major part of his daughter’s life.

Wayne watched the Dutchman as he continued to read through the letters that Paige had sent him every month since she had discovered that she was carrying his child.

Paige smiled as she spotted Robin as he entered the café; the brunette was wearing a black/cream boucle 2 in 1 dress paired with black heeled sandals, she was sitting next to Alisha having a little lunch.

“Hello,” Paige greeted softly as Alisha looked up at him and cuddled into her mother’s side; Robin licked his lips nervously as he looked at his daughter as he sat down across from her.

“Hello,” Robin murmured as he continued to look at the little girl, who watched him curiously making Paige lick her lips before she spoke.

“Alisha… this is your father,” the brunette said gently making Alisha look up at her, tilting her hand slightly as if wanting to be sure that she had heard right; Paige nodded her head making Robin rest his arms on the table.

“You’re my Papa?” Alisha asked softly making the Dutchman nod as he marvelled at the little girl; he knew from that moment that he would do anything for her just like Shaqueel and Dina.

“I am,” Robin said making the little girl nod as she moved away from her mother and look at him curiously; she hadn’t known what to expect when her mother had told her that they were coming to see her father but she hadn’t expected him to be like Robin.

Paige shifted nervously, she knew that she and Robin had a lot to talk about; they would have to sort out custody, visiting arrangements and other legal stuff.

“Mama?” Alisha asked curiously as she looked at the brunette, who shifted as she looked at Robin; he knew that there was stuff that they needed to organise; he wasn’t going to let them walk out of his life again.

“It’s nothing,” Paige said comforting their daughter; she didn't need to hear about the legal stuff that her parents were going to have to sort out, that was between them not her.

Robin cleared his throat as he looked at his daughter, his thoughts turning to what he could do to spend as much time with her as possible to make up for missing so much of her life.

“Why don’t you get some cake… your mother and I need to speak for a moment,” Robin said making the little girl grin before she hurried away leaving the former couple alone; Paige stared at the Dutchman wondering what he had to say to her that couldn't wait for another time.

“I would like you and Alisha to come stay with me, my home is more than big enough,” Robin said hoping that he wouldn’t have to result in guilt tripping his ex-girlfriend into getting what he wanted; the brunette swallowed as she stared at him for a moment, she knew that she should say no but there was something there.

Robin grinned as he held his tired daughter close as he walked into his house in Alderley Edge followed by Paige, who looked a little nervous; she didn't know what had made her say yes to this but she knew it was the best way for Robin to spend time with Alisha.

“Are you sure we’re okay to stay? I’m sure Federico didn't mind us staying with him,” Paige said making Robin glance at her as Alisha started to drift off in his arms; the Dutchman didn't like the Italian spending so much time with his daughter or his former girlfriend.

Shifting Alisha in his arms, the Dutchman turned to look at Paige and nodded his head as he looked at her; he wasn’t going to let his daughter live with someone else when he had room for her in his home.

“Of course it’s okay… I wouldn’t have you or Alisha stay anywhere else,” Robin said as he moved towards one of the guest rooms that he had started to turn into the little girl’s room; his house had seven bedrooms and was not far from the training ground and stadium.

Paige looked at him and nodded her head, she knew that he wanted to be close to his daughter after missing years out of her life because of what had happened but now was his chance to spend time with her.

It wasn’t long before Robin returned, his brown eyes looking at her as she shifted uncomfortable; she knew that they had to speak with one another, but she hadn’t expected it to be this soon.

“Thank you for letting us stay,” Paige said making Robin nod his head as he moved them into the living room, the brunette watched him curiously wondering what he was thinking about.

“It’s not a problem,” Robin said with a shrug, he watched her for a moment as he sat down in the living room; she hadn’t changed much since he had last seen her.

Paige licked her lips as she stared at him; she had a feeling that her and Alisha staying with Robin would change everything and make things more complicated; especially between the former couple.

“I want to be a part of my daughter’s life…” Robin said making Paige nod her head, she knew what he wanted and she was worried that she wouldn’t be able to give that to him.

The former couple sat in silence while Paige messed with her wedding ring, she knew that Robin was watching her but she didn't know what to say to him.

“You still wear the necklace I got you,” Robin mused making the brunette look at him and nod her head, she watched as the Dutchman reached forward and touched the Swarovski match two colour metal heart necklace that she had been given her all those years ago.

Paige sat still as she looked as Robin stared at the necklace in shock that after all these years that she was still wearing it.

“I could never take it off,” Paige said shrugging making Robin smile softly as he trailed a hand up to rest on her cheek, he rubbed it with his thumb for a moment before Paige pulled away from him; she couldn't get involved with him like this, she was married and couldn't led him on like that.
