"We are gathered here today in the face of this company, to join together Robin van Persie and Paige Leah Colbrook in matrimony; which is an honourable and solemn estate and therefore is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently and soberly. Into this estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If anyone can show just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace," the Celebrant said as he opened the wedding, Robin couldn't keep the smile off of his face as he looked at Paige; he couldn't believe that this day had finally come.

Robin knew that his father had done something that meant the world to the couple, it was even better knowing that they were going to be man and wife as soon as it was over.

"Robin do you take Paige as your lawful wedded wife, to live in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love, honour, comfort, and cherish her from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto her for as long as you both shall live?" the celebrant asked making Robin grin as he looked at Paige; he didn't know how he had coped without her by his side the night before.

"I do," Robin said making Paige smile at him as he took her hands, she knew that there was still damage to their relationship and she didn't doubt that there were still things that they needed to do to fix it.

"Paige, do you take Robin for your lawful wedded husband, to live in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love, honour, comfort, and cherish him from this day forward, forsaking all others, keeping only unto him for as long as you both shall live?" the celebrant asked as Robin rubbed the back of Paige's hand with his thumb.

He knew that this didn't change anything but he felt closer to her than ever before because of this; he just hoped that it brought them back together.

"I do," Paige said making a couple of people sniff, she was surprised that Bob had managed to do this without them knowing; everyone who mattered was there.

"I, Robin take thee, Paige, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, honour, and cherish, 'til death do us part, and thereto I plight thee my troth," Robin said as he recited his vows and slipped the ring onto her finger; he continued to smile at Paige; she was one of the most important things in his world even after seven years.

"I, Paige, take thee, Robin, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, honour, and cherish, 'til death do us part, and thereto I plight thee my troth," Paige said as she recited her vows back to Robin and slip his ring onto his finger; she couldn't believe that they were finally getting married.

The celebrant smiled as he looked between the couple, he was happy that his gamble had paid off and now he was marrying them a second time.

"May this couple be prepared to continue to give, be able to forgive and experience more and more joy with each passing day, with each passing year, Robin and Paige, continue their married life together, we hope that they may have loving assistance from their family, the constant support of friends, and a long life with good health and everlasting love. I pronounce that they are husband and wife," the celebrant said making the couple grin at one another as people around them smiled; they had been through so much.

"You may now kiss the bride," the celebrant said allowing Robin to pull Paige into a kiss, everyone around them cheered as they watched the couple; they knew that this was the start of their happy ending together.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the loving couple. Mr and Mrs van Persie," the celebrant concluded as Robin pulled back slightly from Paige to tell her how much that he loved her; the brunette kissed him softly before she replied that she loved him more.

The two didn't care how much they had been through the last year all that mattered was that they were now able to stand here together with their family and friends.

Bob watched the couple as they kissed again, it was clear to see that they were very much in love and he had one more present for them before he left to return to Rotterdam; he swallowed as he picked up the box and carefully headed towards the happy couple.

"Sorry," he said making Robin look at him as he pulled back from Paige, the brunette smiled softly at the man that had managed to organise her big day and had done it so well; she knew that Robin had yet to complete forgive his father who had nearly ruined them.

Bob carefully handed over the box making Paige furrow her brow while Robin looked at his father, he knew that he had a lot to thank him for but that didn't stop him from being wary about what was going on.

Opening the box, Paige looked at Robin as she stared in at the shredded paper that filled it, she wasn't sure what was going on but there was nothing in the box except the shredded paper.

"It's the prenup," Bob said making the couple look at him taken back, he offered them a small smile before he turned and walked away without another word; Paige looked at Robin who sighed as he kissed her lips then he followed after his father.

"Why?" Robin asked as he pulled Bob to a stop, he wanted answers and he knew that his father wasn't going to leave without giving them to him.

"Are you happy?" Bob asked making Robin stare at him confused, he nodded his head wondering what this had to do with anything; he didn't know what his father was doing and it made him curious.

"That's why... I have only ever wanted you to be happy," Bob said as he patted his son on his shoulder, he smiled at him softly before pushing Robin back towards his new wife; he knew that this was where he walked away and allowed the couple to be happy.

Robin blinked as he took in his father's words before he headed back to Paige, she tilted her head curiously as the Dutchman kissed her softly; she smiled as she looked up at him.

"I love you," Robin said as he carefully brushed some hair away from her face, he knew that this was the beginning of their story together; he couldn't help but be pleased that they finally made it to this point.

"Love you too," Paige said as she wondered what Bob had said to Robin, she allowed him to help her to her feet before he slowly led her towards the dance floor.

The couple ignore the smiles as they came together, they didn't care what the future held for them now; they had spent far too long apart and now they just wanted to focus on their family together.

THE END.
