Chapter 27:Christmas decoration

It's been two weeks since Draco and I broke up and one week after the Yule Ball. I've been hanging out with Embry a lot and people sometimes think we are dating. We act like a couple we're just not official, we hold hands when we walk together, we cuddle every night, He sleeps over at my room, some of his clothes are in my drawers, we do almost everything together. No one seems to mind Embry they like him very much and are always asking me if we are official. I want us to be but I'm waiting for him to say something. I'm with Cedric today walking around, we're meeting up with Blaise at the transfiguration courtyard so we're heading there.
"I don't even know how to open that bloody egg. All it does is screech.I'm lucky I can still hear." Cedric complains.
"We'll no one said these tasks are easy I mean I didn't want you in it in the first place but you and your pride, sometimes I wonder how you were put in hufflepuff." I say looking at him.
"Hey the most important thing to a man is his pride." He said with his arm around me.
"Yeah yeah." I roll my eyes as we entered the yard where students were either studying or hanging with their friends.
"Blaise is a bit nervous seeing you ever since what happened with you and Malfoy he seems a bit out of it." Cedric tells me and I look at him.
"Why he didn't do anything wrong." I tell him.
"Yeah but I mean Draco's his best mate and so are you he just thinks it will be awkward you know?" I nodded at what Cedric said.
"Don't worry, I mean it's it going to be exactly like how it was the beginning of last year before Draco I started dating." I told him as he waved at Blaise to come over.
"Hey guys." Blaise greeted as he bro hugs Cedric and gives me a hug.
"God it feel like it's been a long time since we all hung out." Cedric says.
"I know I mean we've all been busy this year." I said as we sat down under one of the trees.
"I've been busy with the crew." Blaise said eyeing me and I rolled my eyes.
"Blaise it's ok I'm over Draco." I told him.
"In two week?" He asked.
"She's been busy with the wolf boy." Cedric smirks and I blushed.
"What's going on between you two?" Blaise asked
"I don't know, but it's good to have someone around." I said blushing and Cedric eyed me.
"Did he imprint on you?" He asked.
"What do you know about imprinting?" I asked
"I know that it means that a wolf finds his/her soulmate." He answers.
"So are you or not." Blaise asked and I nodded smiling.
"Oh my god Alex." Cedric said.
"In my defense I didn't know until like two weeks ago." I said.
"Do you like him?" Cedric asked.
"Yeah."
"In two weeks?"Blaise questioned.
"These things are very strong." I defended.
"Do you miss him now?" Cedric asked and thinking about it yes. I do have a feeling in my chest telling me to go to him and be with him. This feeling that I never felt for even Draco. Wow!!
"As a matter of fact." I said standing up.
"Alex butt down." Cedric ordered.
"Sorry." I said sitting down.
"So your falling for a dog." Blaise said and I glared at him.
"I'm just saying." He raised his hands in defense.
"Did he ask you to the ball?" they asked and I shook my head then a voice came up behind me.
"Actually?" I turned around to see Embry standing there. "I was wondering if you and  I would go together?" He asked.
"I'd love to go to the ball with you." I said smiling at him as he let out a sigh of relief.
"Well thats out of the back I got to go and talk to your dad about what you guys where at these sort of things with the boys." He said standing up and walking away as Ced, Blaise, and I laughed.
"Well I guess I'm going to the Yule Ball." I say and the laugh.
