Chapter 32: A day inside

Everyone left the black lake and went back to the castle I was rushed to the common room by embry and he placed me on the couch in front of the fire to keep me warm and got me a blanket.
"At least let me change Embry." I giggled and he shook his head realizing i was still wet from the lake.
"Um right." He said leading me to my room before I stopped by the door. I turned towards him. "I'll be here when your done." He told me and i nodded before closing the door and looked for something warm to wear. When I found something I dried myself a bit and opened my door. Embry looked at me.
"Thats not gonna make you warm." He commented and i rolled my eyes.
"I know thats why I have you." I said kissing him cheek and he laughed as he picked me up bridal style taking me by surprise. I started giggling as we walked to the couch. He sat down on the couch with me on his lap and covered us with the blanket to keep me warm.
"Are you warm enough?" He asked and I nodded as my body started to warm up thanks to the blanket and Embry. "How cold was it down there?" He asked.
"Lets see its the middle of winter and I was just inside a lake for an hour or so, so it's probably really cold down there." I said in a sarcastic tone.
"Ok sheesh no need to be sarcastic." He said and I laughed at him before cuddling up to him and he had his arms securing me.
"I was so worried about you." He whispered.
"I'm sorry." I said quietly.
"Hey you here in my arms and your safe it's ok." He said and I cuddled more into him. And thats so he stayed to about a while. Just enjoying each others company with him whispering nice things in my ear and me cuddled up to him. That lasted for a while until Harry barged in the common room.
"Alex! Come quick." He panted and he looked like he just saw a ghost. I got off of Embry's lap and walked towards Harry.
"Whats going on?" I asked him but he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the common room with Embry close behind us.
"I'll explain on the way to Dumbledore. Barty Crouch is dead." He said and I was in shock.
"What?" Embry said.
"I found him in the forest with Hagrid, Hermione, and Ron. He was killed." He said.
"Did Hagrid tell my father?" I asked.
"Yeah and thats why I'm going to him. Alex we need to tell him about our dream maybe it means something how is it that both you and I have the exact same dream at the same time." He said and I nodded.
"Embry where are the boys?" I asked and he shrugged.
"Their either premitering the school or their with you father, but with the minister here I am 95% sure there at him office." He said and I looked at Harry.
"Perfect." I said as I arrive to my dads office.
"Sherbit Lemons." I said and the statue move leading us to the doors of him office.
"I don't understand that password." Embry mumbled but I ignored him because Harry was about to knock the door.
"Harry wait." I said listening to whats going on.
"Cornelius this tournament was a bad idea to begin with we need to cancel it before things get even worse." Father voice said to apparently the minister.
"It's too late to cancel now Albus everyone is too excited about everything people are investing on this tournament I will not be seen as a coward." Fudge said and I rolled my eyes.
"You will be seen as a cowards if you continue with this." dad said and it was quiet for a moment.
"What are you saying Albus?" Fudge growled at my father before dad was about to say something Moody was said something.
"Pardon me gentlemen we had a bit of company here." He said and then he opened the door with his wand. Father and Fudge turned to look at us. Both of their faced belt anger and frustrated but Fudge quickly changed his expression to a smile.
"Harry! Alexandra! Wonderful to see you." He said and we both nodded. Harry quickly turned to Father.
"Professor of your busy we can come back another time." He said we were about to eave.
"Non-sense Harry Cornelius was just leaving." Father said turning to look at Cornelius who nodded and I could feel the tension between them.
"See you children." Fudge said about to leave before he turned to Embry.
"Oh you must be Embry Alexandra's imprint." He said and I could feel Embry tense.
"Yes sir." he said.
"Alexandra I'm sorry to hear about Draco and you that must have been unexpected." He said and I nodded at him.
"It's ok but I'm happy now." I said taking Embry's hand.
"Thats good to hear dear. I'll see you at the third task." He said and he left.
"Harry why don't you have some sweets." He said as he left and Moody closed the door on us.
"That guy still freaks me out." I said as Embry hugs me.
"Alex look." Harry said as he walks to dads pensive.
"Thats my dad's pensive. You can see anyones memory but you have to have that memory." I said and they nodded. I think dad was looking at some of his memories again. Harry and I stuck our head inside the pensive and we were taken to a different setting. It looks like the ministry trial room. People are gathering around and taking seats looking at the center of the room which held a creepy looking cage, inside the cage was dads friends Igor, I heard he use to be a deatheater. I saw my father talking to someone until Barty Crouch told everyone that the trial began. I think I know whats going on.
"Harry this is a trial where Igor's fate will go. I think he gives people Crouch other Deatheater's names." I explain and i look around at the People around the room and my eyes land on one person.
"Harry." I nudged him and he looks at the direction I'm looking at.
"Barty Crouch's Son." He said.
"I don't get when was he taken to Azkaban if he was a death eater after the war and this was after the war?" I said and then I felt something pull me back. I was back in my dad's office.
"You were in there for a long time." Embry said worried. He looked at me and realized that I was still dry.
"I was ok this is a magical pensive I can breathe under there." I said.
"I think we should let Harry figure everything out." Father said entering the room.
"Mr. Call I think you should take Alexandra back to her common room she's had a long day." He said.
"But Father." I was about to say but he interrupted me.
"I wish to speak to Harry alone Alex and I think you've been through enough today." He said placing a hand on my cheek. I couldn't say anything else.
"Alright. Goodnight father." I said kissing his cheek before Embry and I walked out.
