Chapter 40: The party that was full of surprises

I finished getting ready for the party and went downstairs to meet Jake and go and pick up Quil and Embry. I walked down the stairs in my heels and holding my white leather jacket. When I walked down Jake looked up and smiled at me.
"So how do I look?" I asked Jake, Sam, and Emily. They all smiled at me.
"It's perfect." Sam said as he held Emily by the waist. She smiled at me.
"Oh wait." She said pulling something out from behind her. It was a a beautiful golden head band.
"I know you've become used to wearing tiara's but this is close." Emily said placing the band on my hand and looking at me.
"Emily you really shouldn't have." I said hugging her.
"It's alright. It pulls the whole outfit together." She smiled and I smiled at her.
"Lets go." Jake said as we were about to leave.
"Jake." Sam called and we turned to him. "I want her home by midnight and if anything happens just call me." Sam ordered and Jake nodded as we left.
"You ready for some fun." Jake asked me as we got inside his truck.
"Or facing some awkwardness." I said as he started his Rabbit.

We picked up Quil and Embry and went to the Cullen's. Let me tell you they're house is huge but not as big as Hogwarts. Once I got out of the truck Embry took a hold of my hand tightly as though scared someone might take me or something.
"I can't smell the leeches from here." Quil said in a disgusted tone.
"It ok." Jake said looking at the house. "Think of it as crashing a party." He said as he walked forward and we followed Jake. We walked up the stairs looking for Bella. When Jake found her we followed him and saw her walking towards her.
"What are you doing here." She asked mostly to Jake.
"You invited me remember?" Jake smirked at her.
"Was my right hook not enough that was me uninviting you." Bella said and Jake sighed
"Told you." I whispered knowing he'd hear.
"Look Bella I'm sorry about the kiss and your hand. I don't know what came over me." Jake apologized.
"Was it now?" Bella said sarcastically.
"Look I got you something." Jake said pulling out a wolf bracelet that he made for Bella. "I made it as a graduation present." He said and Bella smiled.
"Thanks Jake It really beautiful." Bella smiled then she looked up. "Excuse me." Bella said going up to a girls that was frozen in the staircase. Jake followed her.
"Embry who is that?" I asked Embry.
"That's one of the Cullen's. Her name is Alice she's one of Edward's sisters." He said and looked at Jake who signaled for us to follow him.
We followed Jake and entered a room that had all the Cullen's. They all looked like your typical vampire. Pale, expressionless, and beautiful. Each Cullen was beautiful in their own way.
"Hello Jacoub." One man greeted.
"Carlisle." Jake coldly greeted the beautiful man. "These are my friends and pack members Quil and Embry and that Alexandra my cousin she goes by Alex." Jake introduced.
"Is she the witch?" He asked looking at me and Embry pulls my close my the waist.
"Let get to the point here." Jake stated not wanting attention being drawn to me.
"Right Alice?" Carlisle turned to Alice who was the girl that was frozen on the stairs.
"The army of new borns are coming here." She said. " They'll be here in four day."
"This could turn into a blood bath." Carlisle said pacing around the room.
"Who's behind it?" Asked a boy sitting next to Bella. When I saw his face I froze. Oh my god it's like someone turned Cedric into a vampire and he moved here. He looked exactly like Cedric except Cedric had move color in his face and would alway smile. I wanted to cry here and there but I pull it in.
"I didn't see anyone I recognized." ALice said making me break my thoughts. "Maybe one." ALice said and then stayed quiet. I looked at Edward who looked like he was reading her.
"I know his face. He's local. Riley Biers." Edward said and Jake was glaring at him. "He didn't start this." Edward said shaking his head.
"Well whoever did is staying out of action." Alice said and I thought for a moment.
"They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle said.
"Either way the army's on here way and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." One guy standing next to Alice said.
"Hold up. What damn army?" Jake asked stepping in.
"New borns. Our kind." Carlisle said and I steps in.
"Woah new born vampires?" I asked Carlisle who nodded.
"Wait you know about new borns?" Jake asked turning to me.
"We've learned about them last year along with ware wolfs and shapshifters." I said looking at everyone in the room.
"What do you know?" The boy next to Alice asked.
"I know that they are they're strongest at their first few months. There tissue still hangs in there cells making them stronger. There almost impossible to fight unless with training. Well speaking for us wizards we have ways in killing them." I said and Jake looked at me.
"Your wand." He said and I nodded.
"But what are they after?" Embry asked with his arm still around me.
"I saw them passing around Bella's scent a red blouse." Alice said and I looked at Bella.
"There after Bella." Jake said angry. "What the hell does this mean?" He demanded.
"It means an ugly fight with lives lost." Carlisle said and Embry looked at me with confirmation and I nodded. Jake turned to us and Embry and Quil nodded.
"Alright, we're in." Jake said turning to Carlisle.
"No. You'd get yourselves killed no way." Bella told Jake.
"I wasn't asking for permission." Jake told her.
"Edward." Bella whispered turning to Edward who only looks at her.
"If it means more protection for you." Edward told her.
"Jacoub." Carlisle called. "Do you think Sam would agree to an understanding." Carlisle asked and Jake Nodded.
"As long as we get to kill some Vampires." Jake said looking at Edward with so much hate.
"Jasper?" Carlisle called turing to the guys next to Alice.
"They'll give us the numbers. New borns won't even know they even exist." Jasper said looking at us. "It'll give us an edge."
"We'll need to Coordinate." Carlisle said standing up.
"Carlisle. they're gonna get hurt." Bella said to Carlisle.
"We'll all need some training." Carlisle told her than turned to us. "Even Alex we'll need as much help as we can get. Fighting new borns requires knowledge that Jasper has. Your welcome to join us." Carlisle asked.
"Alright you name the time and the place." Jake said stepping forward.
"Jake. You don't know what your getting yourself into." Bella said softly to Jake.
"Bella this is what we do. You should be happy. Look at us working together. You are the one who wanted us to get along remember." Jake smirked her.
"Then why should Alex he there. The newborns could smell her scent and kill her." Bella said and that caused Jake and I to chuckle a bit.
"What?" She asked confused.
"I think you vampire boyfriend who reads minds can answer that." I said and Edward looked at me shocked.
"I think he knows exactly who I am by the time I've been in this room." I told her.
"Alex is the smartest wizard in her age and one of the most powerful. She knows how to make potions that are above her level." Jake told her.
"And with my knowledge we may be able to trick them." I told Carlisle and he thought about it and turned to his family. "I mean you said it yourself they are new borns they have no knowledge what so ever about anything going on in our worlds. They'll never know what it him." I said and Jasper steps in.
"She's right you know. She could give us an advantage." Jasper said.
"Alright then you'll join us in training." He said and I nodded as I looked at Jake.
"I think we'll leave now. Sam needs to know about this." Jake said leaving and we all followed.
