Chapter 20: death wish

I was making my way to the great hall with Harry after our lesson with Snape and Auntie Minerva. Harry seemed bored and waited to be out of the room. We were walking to the great hall arms linked and making conversations here and there.
"Who do you think is will be pick for the tournament?" I asked Harry.
"I think Victor Krum for drumstrang. I Don't know next since the Beatboux don't look smart and I don't know the skills of anyone in our school." Harry said.
"Not one like you." I commented
"Or your."
"What do you mean?" I asked confused written all over my face.
"You have way better skills then me Alex I mean you know spell and how to duel and to do muggle fighting." He said.
"Yeah but that all came from where you are to and I started just like any normal wizard did a student." I said as we arrived to the doors of the great hall.
"I guess your right." He sighed as the doors of the Great hall opened and the goblet of fire was in the center of the room as 7th years put there names in the goblet. Everyones eyes averted to us and we awkwardly walked to our friends.
"Alright everyone back to your knitting." George said.
"Nothing for any of you gits to see." Fred continued as I silently giggled.

Draco's P.O.V
The doors of the great hall opened revealing my beautiful Alexandra enter with her arms linked with Potter. This year whenever I see her with Potter I get a bit jealous and I know they have no feelings towards each other and Alex calls him her big brother but I just feel a bit jealous seeing her with him. I mean he can get away with anything around her. And knows more about her than I do. Of course since I started dating her last year, but I think its safe to say that if they were actually related by blood they probably wouldn't have this strong sibling relationship they have now.
"Draco, Are you alright?" Asked my best friend Blaise.
"Nothing." I said plainly.
"Draco I know somethings wrong. You can't hide your feelings from me." That is why he is my best friend because he can read me like a book and he knows something is wrong.
"Does it seem like Potter is a little bit too clingy to Alex." I asked gesturing towards Potter and ALex who backs were to us.
"No, why would you say that." I shrugged my shoulders and he just smirked.
"Awe is Draco Malfoy Jealous of Harry Potter with his girl." I just gave him a book telling him to shut up and he just laughs.
"No, Why would I be?" I just kept my eyes on my girl and how beautiful she looks with the crown on and her dress. She really looks like a Princess and to imagine that one day she will be next in line as headmaster and will rule the school.
"Exactly and not because your Draco Malfoy the charm boys." I gave him a confused look. Does he not believe in my charm.
"What?"
"Trust me mate, Those two have no feelings for each other. Alex loves you and only you. Potter? Well I heard he has his eyes in Cho Chang." Blaise stated and I just nodded.
"But still I just with they weren't so close." Blaise chuckled.
"Draco you should have known what you were signed up for because Harry and Alex and alway like this and Harry is very protective over her." Blaise said and I raised my eye brow.
"And I should be scared." I laughed.
"We're talking about Potter here. He fought a basilisk in second and fought over a 100 dementors all at once." I shuddered at the dementors.
"Your right about that."

Alex P.O.V
The pack and Emily joined us after a while and we started to laugh and have fun. The Twines went somewhere and I was sitting with Hermione who was reading a book while Harry and Ron were looking around and seeing who put there names in the goblet. Mostly all the gryfindors and the pack were doing the same thing. Draco was sitting with his Slytherin friends talking to Blaise. So I decided to go up to them.
"Hello Draco." I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Hello love." I sat next to him and we started talking until I see Cedric being pushed by his friends to the Goblet.
"Blaise he's not doing what I think he's doing." I asked Blaise with Worry in my voice.
"I think he is?'' I got up with Blaise following. Before he put his name in the goblet i grabbed his arm.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed." I said
"Alex? Blaise?"
"Man! What are you doing?" Asked Blaise.
"It's my last year of Hogwarts at least let me do something memorable."
"Cedric people die in these tournaments. Do you at least think this through." I asked my best friend.
"Guys don't worry about me.I promise both of you nothing is going to happen." He assured us. I nodded knowing he wont give up. I hugged him and pulled back and stood next to Blaise who put his arm around me giving me a side hug. Cedric put his name in the fire and his friends cheered for him and I just clapped.
"He might not get picked Alex." Blaise said trying to lighten the mood.
"yeah but its still a death wish." I said and went back to Hermione.
"So Cedric put his name." I sighed and nodded. Then the twins ran back with some potions.
"It's done lad." George said.
"Whipped it up this morning." Fred continued as everyone cheered for them.
"It's not going to work." Hermione and I sang. Then Fred came to me side and George went to Hermione's side.
"Oh yeah." Fred
"Why's that Granger. Dumbledore/Weasley." I rolled my eyes and at the name and laughed.
"See that line over there it's an aging line. Dumbledore drew it himself." Hermione said pointing at the line Father drew.
"So?" The twins said at the same time.
"So a genius like my father Dumbledore couldn't possibly fooled by something so dim witted as an aging potion. I find it rather offending." I said in a bit of an annoyed tone.
"Well thats why it's so brilliant." George
"Because its so dim witted." Fred
The Twins went and stood on one of the stools and opened the potion.
"Ready Fred."
"Ready George."
"Bottoms up." They said together and drank the potion. They jump over the aging line and nothing happened they cheered and put there names in the goblet and while they were doing that I had a smirk on my face.
"What's going to happen next." Embry asked and Paul, Jared, Jake, Sam, and Emily were waiting for an answer.
"Just wait and see." I said and they looked ahead and saw that they flew across the room with beard and grey hair.
"I just thought I should add a little touch of me in the goblet." I stated laughing.
"You said." Fred blamed
"You said." George copied and they started fighting as everyone flew gathered around shouting 'fight'
Sometime life in Hogwarts never gets old.
Suddently the hall in the great hall went quiet as Victor entered with his gang and he put his name in the goblet and turned towards Hermoine and gave her a smile. She blushed and went back to her book.
"Someone has a crush." I sang and she nudged me in the rib causing me to giggle and shrug.
