chapter 25: confessions

After the dance lesson all the girls have been walking around in groups waiting to be asked. I haven't talked to Draco since what happened in dance class and I have been hanging out with Embry a lot. He didn't seem to mind since we both feel comfortable with each other, but whenever I'm around Embry the pack would just smirk at us. Right now I was walking around with Embry enjoying the cold Christmas weather.
"So Draco ask you to the ball yet?" He asked.
"No." I answer.
"Well he better get a move on because lots of people want to ask you to the dance and he's hasn't even asked you." He said.
"I think after what happened at dance class I won't go to the dance with him besides I'm hopping someone else asks me." I say smirking. I can see Embry frown a bit.
"Do you like someone else?" He asked.
"I may have."  I answer grinning. Ever since I started hanging out with Embry I've developed a little crush on him and sometimes I don't like being with anyone but him which is weird.
"Do I now him?" He asked me.
"Yeah in fact you know him every well." I giggled at him. He gave me a weird look then got the point and started laughing.
"So you too?" He asked.
"I don't know why but yeah I mean I feel like I have this weird connection with you and that I need to be with you or I feel lost. Come to think of it I feel like this ever since I met you back at La Push." I say and he started rubbing the back of his neck.
"Embry do you have something to tell me?" I asked him.
"I didn't want to tell you because you were dating Draco and you were so in love with him but Alex I imprinted." I looked at him "On you." he continued I smiled shyly at him and hugged him tightly.
"That explains a lot." I say he laughs."Do any of the pack know?" I asked.
"Of course and they told me to tell you but I chose not to because you were dating that Malfoy kid that no one likes and you were happy with him." He said and I nodded.
"Judging by what's happening I don't know what to do." I said looking down as we walked by Hagrids Hut towards the forests.
"I'll give you your time but just know I'm waiting." He smiled at me and I nodded as we walked around in silence but it was nice silence. I held on to him arm for warmth and we walked.
"You know that being here is much better than begin surrounded by blood suckers." Embry joked as I laughed but then we heard an annoying giggle from through the trees. Embry told me to be quiet and went in front of me towards the trees where the giggling came from. Then we heard kissing noises he looked at each other confused pulled the branches away to see Pansy making out with my boyfriend Draco Lucius Malfoy. They stopped and looked at us I had a look of hurt while looking at Draco. He had a look of shock as he pushed Pansy away who had a victory smirk on her face.
"Embry lets go." I said my voice started cracking as I pulled him away.
"Alex wait." Draco called taking a hold of my arm.
"How could you?" I cried pulling my arm away from him. He stayed silent and looked down so I walked away towards the castle and ran to my common room passed everyone. I ran up to my room not caring who saw me and locked the door to my room and sink down on the floor leaning on the door with my face burried in my knees. I felt hurt, weak, numb, no world can explain how I feel right now.
