chapter 39: The party tonight

"Alex Bella invited me to her graduation party and I don't want to be in a house filled with bloodsuckers alone would you like to come? Embry and Quil are coming." Jake asked as he entered the kitchen. I was sitting with Sam and he was telling me stories about the legends. When Jake was telling me about the party I looked at Sam.
"Jacoub broke her hand by punching you in the face like two days ago I don't think she wants you in her graduation party." I pointed out making Sam chuckle.
"She didn't technically uninvited me making me still invited so what do say you want to crash a party with me?" He asked and I looked at Sam as though asking for his permission.
"Can I go?" I asked him.
"Why are you asking me?" He asked confused.
"I am in your care at the moment and this is your house I mean I do owe you some respect." I said and he looked at me.
"I so wish I recorded that for one of the boys to hear." Sam said making me laugh.
"No need when we're in wolf form we can all see it." Jake said and I giggled.
"So can I." I asked.
"Why not I mean that dark wizard can't know where you are." He said and I cheered and hugged him.
"When is the party?" I asked Jake.
"To night so be ready by then." He said leaving the house.
"He's never going to get over her is he?" I asked Sam.
"You don't hear what we hear when we patrol with him Alex. It's like an obsession than a love story." Sam said.
"I just hope that he imprints soon." I said hopeful and Sam nods.
"Alright Alex after seeing your living environment at your home and school I need to teach you what to do for tonight. You can't wear those long dresses that you wear back home at this party." He says and I look at him.
"Than what do I wear?" I asked and he looks at me.
"Have you never been in any party?" He asked.
"No."
"Well this is going to be a long talk. Wear something simple like a short dress or something and have that dress be as simple as can be." He said and I nodded.
"I think I have some simple short dresses with me." I said.
"Thats good, but I also need to tell you something." He said and I looked at him.
"It's about one of the Cullen's." He said and I looked at him. "Remember your late friend Cedric." He said and I looked down remembering him.
"Yeah."
"Well remember how Jake was always cold towards him?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"Well Cedric would remind him of Bella's current boyfriend Edward Cullen." He told me and I looked at him shocked.
"So your telling me that Edward Cullen looks like Cedric?" I asked and he nodded. "A lot?"
"Yeah Cedric didn't look so dull and like a vampire." Sam said.
"Is that why you were so much against me meeting the Cullens this year because Edward would remind me a lot of Cedric?" I asked.
"Alex it's scary how much they looked a like except your friend actually smiles." He said and I shook my head.
"Sam." I said.
"I know I should of told you sooner but we were scared that you'd be depressed because we all knew how Cedric meant to you and he truly was an amazing person." he said placing his hand on my mine.
"What's goin on?" Embry asked entering the room kissing my forehead and sitting next to me.
"Jake just invited Alex to Bella's graduation party which apparently you and Quil are going to." Sam said .
"Yeah he just told me while we were in patrol , but Sam are you sure Alex should come with us with you know you know you looking like you know what?" He asked and I giggled shaking my head.
"Sam already told me and I think I'm just eager to see how much this guy looks like Cedric." I said and Embry looked at Sam.
"And you ok with this?" HE asked me.
"Alex he really looks a lot like him." Sam said.
"And I'll be the judge of that tonight." I said standing up and going to my room.
