Chapter Twenty-one - The Silent Treatment
The countdown? 13 days left with Aden
Have you ever been in a situation where you could practically feel the elephant in the room?
Yeah, I had one of those moments, this morning at breakfast.
The entire time, I never met Aden's eyes. The only interaction we had, was when I asked him to pass the eggs.
So, now, I'm at school, giving Aden the silent treatment.
It was finally lunch, but before I could walk into the lovely cafeteria, someone grabbed me and pulled me into a closet, that I believe was labeled 'janitor'.
"Listen, I know that you are mad at me, and you have every right to be, but please give me another chance."
I knew that voice. It was the one and only, Aden Black.
He still had a hold on my arm, so I ripped it out of his hold, sent him the deadliest glare that you can send in the dark, and stalked out of the janitors closet.
But not before saying, "You lost your chance the second you opened that condom."
