Next week is prom, and the entire school (mostly the girls) are freaking out. Ms. Eagle said that Lisa already came up with a dress for me to wear to prom.

"Sinagona!" Katie shouts as she jumps me with her famous hug. "What is it Katie?" I ask. "I want to look at my dress and tell me what you think." I nod. Katie goes through her phone to pull up the picture of her dress. "Here, look." She hands me the phone.

The dress is short and pink, the bottom of it is covered in jewels, but that fades as it goes up. It's strapless. "It will perfect on you." I praise her. She wraps her arms around me tight. "Thank you! I was thinking it was going to look terrible on me." She cries tears of joy in my arms.

"What about you?" She asks about my dress. "I haven't seen it yet, my guardian had a friend with 'an eye for fashion' pick it out." I explain. "So cool." She whispers. "Hey, Sinagona." She calls out in a soft voice. "Hmm?" She smiles bright. "Thank you for being my friend." My eyes widen at her words. It's something I'd ever hear. "It was my pleasure." I respond.

I don't know why, but I've been in a good mood as of late. When it becomes lunch time I feel excited. When I make it outside I see Elija in his usual spot. "Hey, cupcake!" He hollers. "Even though you have a face as solid as stone, I can tell you're happy." Elija points out.

"I was going to give you good news, but nevermind." I say as I turn away. "No! Gimme good news." Elija begs. "I have decided that I will go to prom with you." Over joyed Elija tackles me, putting him on top of me, and me on the ground.

"Marry me." He asks in joy. "Get a life." I comment. He chuckles at my comment. "Now get off me." I order. "Not without a kiss." He jokes. "I got a fist." I hiss. He hops right up, helping me up in the process.

"Hey, cupcake." I give him a quick hmm. "You now know a lot about vamps, but you haven't told me nothing about Saga's." He states. He isn't wrong. "There's not much to know." I tell him. Saga's are a mystery, even to me.

"Saga's are the superior species to Nia's. We can transform to any animal extinct or not." I stop to think a little more. "We can do this 'thing' that can make us stronger, but we can only do every now and then or we might...die." I explain.

Saga's have always been low in numbers due to the females. If a strong female had a child she would live after the birth, but if she was weak she would die while giving birth. From what Ms. Eagle told me birth is hell for a female Saga. Twin Saga's were rarer than human twins. Either the mother would die, or the twins will. In some rare cases only one twin lived by obsorbing the weaker twin. Saga's never really had it easy.

After lunch me and Elija slit up to our classes. The bell rang, declaring class was over. "Ms. Sinaria, do you have a moment?" My teacher asks. I walk to her desk. "Yes ma'am?" I answer in a bit of confusion. "I was wondering if you were going to take up on that offer to Harvard?" She asks. "I'm truly sorry, but I'm unable." I could tell she was disappointed. "Just know, their arms are always opened to you." She comments before I leave.

Jake had to meet up on a family pack meeting, so he couldn't pick me up. But as soon as I make it home someone tightly embraces me. The person smelled like Victoria's Secret heavenly perfume. Lisa. "Sinagona, I'm going to be the worst person ever and show you the dress for prom, on prom day." Lisa states.

"A little warning before you jump people next time?" She giggles. This may sound terrible, but she's only fifteen and has a better 'fashion sense' than me.

"Thanks for picking out my dress, and I know why you won't show me." I tell her filled with thankfulness. If she showed me, I would it is too much and not wear it. I had to be wrestled in order for a dress to be put on me.

"Lisa won't even let me see the dress." Jake pops up complaining. "You're back." I state the obvious. "Right when the meeting ended I ran all the way here." Jake sighs. "I can't believe you're almost an adult." Jake says. "We're the same age idiot." I clarify with him.

"Well, I might not be able to see you often." Sadness shadows his bright green eyes. He's not wrong. Right when I graduate I'll have to take care of all the Nia's here. There won't be much free time in my schedule. "Don't worry, you'll always be my friend." I assure him.

"And I'll make sure that I will lead and protect you're pack the best I can." He smile, but a sad one grows on his face. "Thanks, Sina." He hugs me tightly. He pulls away. "Bet you have things to do." He knows me to well. "Damn straight." I say as I head to the training room.

I pick up a five hundred weight. When people walk by I make some jaws drop. Even Jake. He's been working out before me, but I'm still stronger.

As the sun begins to set, the moon rises. I take a quick shower, then head off to get rest.
                      It's almost time.
