"Ms. Eagle, this is Elija, the father of my baby." I blurt out nervously. What the hell!? I could worded it better! "Elija, was it?" Ms. Eagle questions. "What might your last name be?" She asks. Her gaze doesn't stray from him for a second. "Elija Vomora Crimson." He speaks his full name. Her eyes widen, but Elija puts a finger over his lips. Why is he hushing her.
"Sinagona, could you give us some privacy." I nod before leaving. Instead of waiting by the door, I put my ear up against it.
"What is a vampire like you doing here?" She hisses. "Wouldn't you're mother be looking for you?" What is she talking about. "She probably is, but I don't care about that hag." He growls. Why would he call his mother that. "Why are you here?" She questions. "I ran away." He answers calmly. "Why!?" I could hear him sigh. "I can't tell you that now could I?" He suddenly opens the door almost making me fall. "Someone's being nosey." He knew I was eavesdropping!
"What are we going to do about the baby?" Ms. Eagle asks. "What do you mean? I'm keeping it." Elija seemed surprised, but happy with my statement. "What..." She says quietly. "Sinagona, this baby belongs to a vampire!" I'm hurt. Is she stating she doesn't want me to have the baby?
"Ms. Eagle, you know how important this baby is to my kind." I growl. "The father's a vampire!" She hisses. "It doesn't matter! If anything it would look like a treaty!" I growl out in anger. I storm out of there out off anger.
When I make it to my room I try to slam my door shut, but a hand stops it. A subtle sound of a violin rings in my ears; it holds a strong beat along with a deep sound of a piano. "Cupcake?" Elija! Was that his music. "I really thought you were going to agree with her." He says honestly.
"I'm the last of the Saga's, and giving up a baby like that would be reckless." I admit. "I'll do my best to help you out." His words are like a haven to my ears. "You better, it's your kid too." I state to hide my joy. "Elija." I say. "Why did you run away?" He seemed a bit startled by my question. "Well, I used to believe my mother was a good woman, until I found out the truth..." His voice cracked a bit. Whatever his mother did it must of hurt him.
"I can't tell you want she did, but I can only say she's a terrible person." For someone's child to run away and call them horrible things, she must have done something terrible. Or he might be overreacting over a small thing. "How are you going to help me if everyone here hates vampires?" After my question was asked Ms. Eagle walks in.
"What't up with everyone eavesdropping today?" Elija asks. "There's a house in the forest that you can live in." She offers. "I can't have you cooped up in a small room pregnant." She comments. She doesn't seem comfortable with me having a vampires child yet. But I don't blame her. "You're mother lived there when she was pregnant with you." It must be hard. She knew my mother way before she had me, and now she's seeing her best friend's child pregnant.
"It's still on our grounds, but it's isolated by trees so you'll have privacy." I embrace her in a tight hug. Even through all the things I have put her through in life, she still is there for me. "I'll pack my things." I say. "Already done!" Elija comments. "I'll sneak you two over there." She says.
Being as quick and careful we make it to the house. It's a well sized cream colored house in the middle of a clearing. To my surprise the house looks well kept. "I make sure keep it well kept." Ms. Eagle comments as if reading my mind. Before me and Elija walk in Ms. Eagle grabs Elija by the collar of his shirt. "Hurt her, and I'll end you." She warns with a big smile on her lips. Something tells me that she wouldn't mind ending him here and now. "I will never hurt her." Elija states; a seriousness lacing his voice.
We finally make our way inside. All the walls are cream white. The way the sun shun through the windows helped create a cozy feel. Everything was clean, aside from some dust here and there. "Wanna head to the bedroom." Elija suggests winking at me. "With myself." I state. He chuckles at my response. I don't know why. Does he know what happened the last time we slept in the same bed.
"This suite case is small, but all your stuff wasn't enough to fill it." He comments as he opens my suite case. I never had much, nor did I want much. Ms. Eagle has tried to offer to spoil me rotten, but I always rejected. I told her that money should go to everyone else. Instead of being spoiled, I wanted those things to go to the ones in need.
I look around the house. There's only two rooms, and each has a bed. I claim the master bedroom as mine. I start to take my things out of my suite case. A knock at the front door startles me. Elija doesn't answer, being unsure of who it is. I recognize their music, Jake. I open the door enough so he can only see me.
"May I help you?" I ask. "Why did the hell did ya move here!" Jake yells. "D-did I do something wrong?" He asks. Worry swirls around in his green eyes. "No, Ms. Eagle thought that because I'll be becoming leader soon, I should have privacy." I lie. I know I've told myself not to lie to him anymore, but I don't want him to be hurt. "Um do you wanna train tomorrow? Oh wait! You have to train with Ms. Eagle." I shake my head. "Sorry, but she's put me on house arrest." I lie again. Lying really puts a sick feeling in my stomach. "Okay." He says before leaving.
"Was that dog boy?" Elija asked, irritation clear on his face. "Bug off." I say in a warning tone. "I don't like him being around what's mine." He lowly growls. "Yours?" He nods. "I may be having your baby, but that doesn't mean that I belong to you." I growl. As I'm about to storm off he grabs my forearm.
"Then what are we, cupcake...?"
