Today is the day of the prom. Katie managed to get a date. "Have you seen you're dress yet?" Katie asks. "No, they won't show me until I get home." I answer. I asked Lisa if I could see it t hip is morning but...

"Nope, nope, not until you come home!"

Was her reply. Me and Katie are currently in the gym. Mr. Harwell's and some other classes are recharge of decorating the gym for prom. Katie puts a latter against the wall. "What are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm putting up some decorations; could make sure I don't fall?" I grab the latter on both sides to keep it sturdy. "Hand me that, pretty please." She points to blue ruffles. I gladly hand them to her.

"CUPCAKE!" Only one person calls me that. "What do you want?" I growl. I keep my attention on not letting Katie fall. "Need my help?" He asks. Why is he in a cheery mood? WAIT!

"I have decided to go to prom with you."

I can't believe I actually said that! I must of ate something that day! "No, we're good." I reply. "Sinagona, I'm done." Katie informs me. I move out the way so she could come down. "Wow, you did a great job." I praise.

"Thanks." She giggles at the compliment. "So, Elija who are you taking to prom?" Katie asks. "Sorry, but my date would get nervous if I said." If he had spelt the beans I would of beat the hell out of him.

Wait, after graduation I won't have deal with him anymore. I come to the realization that I won't be able to see him anymore. That sounds like heaven.

My thoughts a interrupted by Courtney. "So, Elija are taking me to the prom." Courtney had walked on over here. She puts her hand on his chest. They look like a old married couple. "Sorry, but I have a date." He states proudly. Courtney's face crunches up. "I can't be someone who looks better than me." She hisses. Talking about to much pride.

"Don't tell me it's that Sinar- whatever her name is." Courtney growls. "Sorry to burst your bubble but there's people better looking than you." He leans in closer to her. "But I care about the contents of people." He states strongly.

My eyes widen at his statement. Courtney scoffs. Courtney looks me dead in the eye before storming off.

We finish up some more decorating before our next class. The day seems to fly by, because it's lunch. Elija is in the same spot as always.

"Free day, pick what you want to learn." Elija explains. I take a good minute or two to think. "How to fight a royal." I make my choice. Elija seemed a bit surprised by my answer. "You said their unpredictable, so I need to at least know how to fight them when their not using their powers." I explain my choice.

"Oh! You might not a royal, are you?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Well, what about the class below royals?" I suggest. He seemed to be a little more comfortable with that. If he's not a royal I can't expect him to be able to fight one.

"These vamps are full of themselves, the only ones who can talk them down are royals." Elija explains. "When fighting one, you have to be one step ahead of one." He states. He shows me some ways to dodge their attacks before lunch ends.

At the end of the day Jake is waiting for me. "Yo, Sina." Jake hollers from afar. Once I meet up with him, he pays my head. "What?" I ask a little confused by the jester. "My Sina is growing up so fast." Jake says pretending to cry. "Idiot, we're the same age." I hiss as I bump him upside the head.

We both walk home. Once there Lisa drags me off somewhere. "Close your eyes." She tells me. I do as she says. After a little bit of rustling sounds she speaks. "Open." I open my eyes. They go wide at the sight in front of me.

A beautiful ocean blue dress sits in front of me. Diamonds lace the hip of it. "Lisa, no I can't." I say not wanting to wear such a beautiful dress. "Shut up, because you're wearing it." She puts her index finger on my lips.

There's no fight with her, not Lisa. Lisa dress me up. She makes sure I put the dress on correctly, and does my hair. "You're so beautiful I don't even need to put makeup on you." Lisa praises.

"Now, let's go show everyone." Lisa opens the door so everyone could see me. Jake's jaw drops. "Why couldn't I be your date?" Jake whines. "Because I'll beat you." Ms. Eagle comments. Jake then shuts up. She walks up to me. "Have a fun time." I smile at the jester. I give her a big hug before leaving.

Katie said she'd wait for me at the entrance. I have to admit I'm actually nervous. I've never had to go to something like this. When I make it to the entrance I look for Katie. I remembered her dress was pink.

"Sinagona!" I hear a familiar cheery voice call out to me. "Katie." I respond. She makes her way towards me. "Oh my god! You look gorgeous!" Katie praises me as she admires my dress. I take a moment to look over her look. She put on pink lipstick, and eye shadow. Her was put up in a curly pony tail. Her dress really meets with her personality. Bright, beautiful, and cheery.

"That dress fits you perfectly." I compliment her. "Speak for yourself! That dress really brings you out!" She squeals. "Let's hurry inside, my date's waiting." Katie grabs my wrist, dragging me to the gym. The gym was covered in blue decor and colorful lights shinning in every direction. On one side of the gym was a table set full of foods and drinks. People are everywhere.

Katie went to dance with her date leaving me at the food area. The DJ puts on slow music. Everyone grabbed their dates to go dance. "Can I have this dance?" I turn around to see who asked.

There in front of me was Elija. He wore a black tux and shirt with a blue tie. He pulls out a blue corsage. My hand moves as if it has a mind of it's own. Elija slides the the corsage onto my wrist. He looks at me for a moment before dragging me to the dance floor.

He holds a firm grip on my hips. I place my hands on each of his shoulders. "You look dashing." I speak first. He smiles at my compliment. "Your dress really brings out you're eyes." He compliments me back. So that's why Lisa picked it out. "How about my place after." He teases. "Over my dead body." I respond making him chuckle. "You look delicious cupcake." I slap his arm at his comment

Elija's eyes stare at something behind me. Before I could turn to look he pulls me close. His arms wrap around me protectively, he smirks at whatever is behind me. I grow more suspicious. "What is it Elija?" I ask. "Um, what nothing." He starts to get nervous.

I quickly turn my head to see what is behind me. My eyes go wide. Jake was there. His eyes were filled with rage. Elija holds me tighter. "Elija, let go of me." I command him as I struggle out his hold.

Jake then flips Elija off, before walking off. Elija let's me go, then chases after Jake. In panic I follow them, but I have to squeeze throw a crowd of people. By the time I make it Elija has Jake by the collar of his shirt.

I rush towards them. I push Elija away from Jake. "Look, she's protecting you from me." Jake taunts. I start to struggle to hold Elija back. "Stop!" I growl. Elija then relaxs. "What's wrong with you two?" I growl. "You're the one with a vampire date!" Jake hisses at me. "This is the guy I've been smelling on you." He hisses.

"Yes he is, but he isn't like the other vampires." I plea. "Vampires will never change." Jake growls fiercely. "Jake, just leave him alone." I hiss. "I would if he didn't have his filthy hands all over you!" This isn't looking good, their not listening to me.

Before I know it Jake tackles Elija. "Jake, STOP!" Before Jake could punch Elija he stops. "Let's go home." I say. Jake get's off Elija. "I won't tell anyone what I've seen here." Jake says in a low broken voice. "Sina let's go." Before I could say anything to Jake Elija drags me off.

"E-Elija! Let go of me!" I command of him, but he doesn't listen. Soon we're far into the forest. He stops at a cabin. He pulls out a key, then unlocks the door.

"Ladies first." He opens the door. I walk in, but I keep a close eye on Elija. He shuts the door once he's inside. I take a good look around the place. It looked like a regular home.

"What is this place?" I ask. "My home." He answers. By the looks of it he lives alone. Before I could ask another question Elija throws his arms around me.

                          "Elija...?"
