After I left Rose standing alone in the maze I walked inside and thanked Jack for inviting me to his wedding and I left, where I was headed I didn't know I was too upset to care all I needed was to clear my mind...the minutes slowly turned into hours and I heard the slight hum of my phone vibrating inside my pocket, it was a text from Rose...

Wyatt I am sorry for not realizing sooner, but I am not ready for a relationship yet I hope you understand and that we can continue staying friends after tonight, I am on my way to England you are welcome to come with me if you want to but if I don't hear from you in an hour I understand why and I hope to see you soon...

I didn't bother texting her back instead I slowly pushed my phone back in the same spot it was in and begun walking back home...I decided to give Rose some space since she made it clear she wasn't interested in a boyfriend anytime soon...so I guess this is what goodbye really felt like.

*3 months later*

I was woken up to a loud banging on the door, I got out of bed and opened the door and seen my friend Jack standing there with a bag of food.

Wyatt: what are you doing here so early? It's 7 in the morning...

Jack: well obviously I'm bringing you food and it's 7 in the afternoon...we have been worried about you since nobody has seen or heard from you in 3 months...what's going on with you? This isn't like you to not talk to anyone...is it about that girl that you mentioned to me?

Wyatt: I don't want to talk about her...

Jack: Wyatt...look man that girl changed you, you was like this before she come along and now that she is suddenly out of the picture again you went back to the old you...

Wyatt: I told you that I didn't want to talk about her...

Jack: this isn't like you at all Wyatt, what happened between you and her?

Wyatt: she text me telling me that she wasn't ready for a relationship but that she still wanted to be friends and how she wanted me to go with her to England...

Jack: and what's wrong with wanting to be friends? She obviously cares enough about you that she wants you around...don't push her away

Wyatt: do you know that she was raped...her friend's asshole boyfriend forced himself onto Rose and beat her than her friend Bridgit believed him and not Rose...

Jack: all the more reason for you to be there for her...I'm sorry that happened to Rose, she is a sweet girl and you shouldn't keep her waiting, she will eventually come around don't let her go Wyatt...you need her in your life.

Wyatt: maybe you are right but I doubt she will speak to me again...I haven't spoken with her since the night you got married...

Jack: you never know until you try...you should know that her and Alice has become close friends, I'm sure she will talk to her for you if you want...

Wyatt: no...this is something I need to do alone...

I heard his phone beep and he checked it and smiled to himself.

Jack: get dressed me and you are going back to my place...

I went to my room and quickly threw on an outfit before we left my house.
