*Wyatt*

I had just finished filming the movie and was heading back to the hotel room I was staying in until tomorrow which I decided to go home that was until I noticed a text from Rose...

Wyatt please text me when you get this, I just got into a accident and headed to the hospital as I'm typing this, please come see me I could use a friend right now...

I packed my things as quickly as I could and headed to the airport after I returned the key for the hotel room.

I finally got a flight back home which took twelve hours before I could catch a plane there I just hope Rose wouldn't be upset at me for taking so long to see her...

After the plane landed and got a cab to the hospital and asked for her, the nurse showed me where her room was and I seen her fast asleep in that hospital bed with Milo cuddled up next to with his head resting on her belly while he silently slept, I sat down in a chair that was next to the bed and stayed quiet while they slept.

I quickly dozed off after I laid my head down on the bed but was woken up to the feeling of a wet tongue on my face, I opened my eyes and seen Milo standing beside me licking my face.

Wyatt: hey boy I missed you too...

He sat down next to me and placed his paw on my leg before laying down on the floor, I looked over at Rose and noticed that she was still sleeping so I grabbed Milo's leash and took him outside so he could use the bathroom...when we got back to the room I seen Rose sitting up in bed while the nurse set a plate of food on the table for her so she could eat...

Nurse: if you need anything miss Clark just let me know or your husband can help you...

Rose: thank you...

Nurse: I will leave you two alone now...

I watched as the nurse left the room and I closed the door behind her.

Wyatt: how are you feeling?

Rose: honestly I have felt better than I do now, my leg is broken along with a few ribs but the doctor says the are healing nicely, how are you feeling?

Wyatt: a bit tired but I'm more concerned about you...

Rose: I will be okay...

Wyatt: has anyone come to see you yet?

Rose: nobody but you...you are the only one that knows about the accident.

Wyatt: do you want me to call someone?

Rose: oh yeah like who...my mom, my dad? I think they have better things to do than come visit their broken and bruised daughter in the hospital

Wyatt: I was thinking more along the lines of Alice and Jack...

Rose: I'm sure they are both busy...

Wyatt: so why did you text me?

Rose: because you are the only person that actually seems to care about me and I knew you would come see me.

Wyatt: Rose I...

Rose: you what Wyatt...love me? I kinda figured that out the night you tried to kiss me when we were alone in that maze...

Wyatt: yeah well I guess it sorta felt right but I'm only here as your friend...

Rose: yeah just as a friend...

Wyatt: since we are on the subject you should know that I met someone and that we are dating...

Rose: I am happy for you both...I hope she is what you're looking for in a female...

Wyatt: she is...I better get going than and I hope you get better soon Rose.

Rose: bye Wyatt thanks for coming to see me...

Wyatt: you're welcome...Bye Rose, Bye Milo...

I walked out of the room and out of the hospital, I got a cab ride back home and cussed at myself for what just happened, I pick up anything and everything and threw it at the walls, I grabbed a beer bottle and threw it at a picture that she took of us that day in Paris when we was at the Eiffel Tower, I picked it up and looked at it then felt a smile slowly creep across my face at the thought of remembering what that sweet old lady said and her words replayed in my mind...

....don't let her go....

The one thing I promised that I would never do I was doing but it needed to be done, she deserved to be happy but if you truly love something than you should let it go just to see if would come back to you again...I love Rose enough to let her go even though it was going to be very hard since she was my happy place and always made me smile...
