I stepped out of the airport and felt the cold wind hit me in the face as I begun making my way towards my parent's house, after I walked inside I smelled the familiar scent of my mother's cooking...I closed the door as quietly as I could hoping they wouldn't hear me come in but I was reminded about Lucky as he growled before walking towards me as I walked around the corner and seen my mom standing at the stove cooking, I walked up behind her and placed my hand on her shoulder and stood beside her and pulled her close to me.
Ma: when did you get here son?
Wyatt: not that long ago, I was hoping we could talk...
Ma: does this have anything to do with that girl you've been seeing?
Wyatt: well I wouldn't say we were seeing each other, it isn't like we were dating but yes it is about her...
Ma: well I'm listening so go ahead
I told her everything that happened starting from the day I went to see her in the hospital leading up to when she sprayed mace in my eyes...
Wyatt: I want to make things right with her but I don't know how to do that without hurting her...
Ma: I can't promise you things will go back to the way things were before but if she truly cares about you than she will get in touch with you...
Wyatt: that's never gonna happen, she hates me...
Ma: well son you called her stupid, did you expect everything to be sweet as sugar? She had every right to be angry and I raised you better than that.
Wyatt: yes I know you did ma...I just I knew how to fix things between us again, I miss her...
I placed my head in my hands then felt her place her hand on my shoulder and sat down next to me.
Ma: if you truly love her than you will know how to win her back...send her flowers everyday leave sweet little notes with them letting her know that you are thinking about her but don't leave your name on the note.
Wyatt: thanks for the tip ma, I will try that.
