chapter 26

* Wyatt*

A month passed since I got advice from my mother and I waited patiently to hear something from Rose which didn't take long to happen, I was sitting around my house when I heard the doorbell ringing and I seen this young boy standing at my door.

Wyatt: can I help you with something?

Tate: I'm Tate, is Wyatt here?

Wyatt: I'm Wyatt, what can you with kid?

Tate: okay so my sister sent me here to tell you that she knows you are the sending the flowers and she wanted me to give this to you...she also said to meet her there at 8 tonight something about wanting to talk you during dinner.

Wyatt: okay Tate tell her I will be there and can you give this to her for me.

Tate: sure...

I closed the door after he walked away and got into a truck that I didn't recognize, I looked at the clock and seen that it was already five in the afternoon so I walked upstairs and got a shower then got dressed, left the house and drove to the spot that she wanted to meet at...it was close to eight when I got here and I seen the same truck as the one that boy got in, that's when I seen her so I got out of my car and started walking towards her.

Wyatt: hey you...

Rose: hi...

Wyatt: so what did you want to talk about?

Rose: well I just wanted to say that I know about the roses they are beautiful, thank you Wyatt.

Wyatt: you're welcome Rose and I'm sorry for calling you stu--

Rose: you don't have to do that Wyatt, I was stupid....and I still am

Wyatt: no you're not and I was wrong for saying that about you...can we go back to being friends again?

Rose: yeah but...

Wyatt: but what?

Rose: I need to know one thing and I want you to be honest with me...

Wyatt: what is it?

Rose: that day I was in the hospital and you told me that you were dating someone, was that true?

Wyatt: no it wasn't true I don't know why I said it...I shouldn't have said it.

Rose: why did you say it?

Wyatt: I wanted to make you jealous and hoped that you would want me the way that I want you Rose...

Rose: Wyatt I....

Wyatt: I can't be away from you more than five minutes without getting angry at someone

Rose: I was told about your anger but I didn't realize that I helped change it.

Wyatt: I love you Rose and if I have remain your friend until you feel the same than that's fine with me...

Rose: I'm glad you said that Wyatt, cause I can't stand another minute away from you, I have missed you.

I watched as she slowly walked towards me and I pulled her into my arms and stood there together hugging each other under a light.

Wyatt: I missed you too Rose...
