The windy nighttime breeze, peacefully blew against the nape of Hermione's neck, sending shivers down her spine. Harry noticed her quietly shivering, and snickered, handing her his Quidditch robes.
"Thanks..." She mumbled, blushing brightly. However, it wasn't from the cold.
"No problem, Mione." Harry chuckled, slinging his arm around his best friend's shoulder. Together, they made their way to the Quidditch Pitch.
Once they arrived, Hermione turned, jogging towards the stands. Unfortunately, for her, Harry had a completely different idea in mind. Smirking, he mounted his broom, flying up behind her. His arm snaked around Hermione's waist, instantly shocking her.
"Harry put me down, now!!" She screeched, trying her best to ignore his hand that was firmly gripped around her torso.
"Let me think about it-" Harry started, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his pinkish lips. "No!"
Hermione groaned, trying to unfasten his arm from around her. However, despite her desperate attempts, Harry's arm stayed glued around her waist. Quickly, he pulled her behind him on his broom.
"Harry, you know I hate flying..." Hermione whispered, tightly hugging his torso from behind. She softly rested her head against his back, affectionally nuzzling closer towards him.
"Yeah, I know..." Harry whined, pouting at her. "But please, just this once."
"Fine-" She huffed, suddenly being cut short as Harry swiftly took off.
Hermione loudly squealed, tightening her grip on her best friend- if that was physically possible. Harry stopped flying, as the got up pretty high, where the wind was at rest.
"Wow..." Hermione gasped in awe, gazing up at the myriad of twinkling stars. She gradually gazed around the secluded area, beaming.
Sighing in delight, Hermione laid her head against Harry's back once more, finding herself at peace with him. Her eyes, however, stayed wide open, still glued to the countless stars.
Harry turned, looking down at her with compassion, nonetheless, she didn't realize. His eyes scanned over her face, noticing every one of her beautiful features. Harry noticed every small freckle that was illuminated by the moonlight. Or the way her eyes lit up as they scanned across the sky. Overall, he was completely in love with every part of her.
Hermione eventually noticed Harry's stare, and lifted her chin, immediately locking eyes with him. Grinning, Harry noticed the light pink blush that highlighted her face. His caring gaze fell to her lips, fighting the urge to crash them against his.
Shrugging, he softly grabbed her chin, wrapping his other hand around Hermione's waist. She blushed, feeling a grin tugging at her lips. Slowly, Harry began to lean in, teasing her.
His smooth lips crashed against hers, bringing butterflies to Hermione's stomach. Still kissing, Harry grabbed her hand, softly caressing it. Once they pulled away, she beamed, snuggling closer to him.
"Thank you, Harry." Hermione muttered, grinning as she felt Harry place a kiss against her forehead.
"Anything for you, Mione..."
