Harry sat down beside Hermione, causing her to jump, clearly startled by his presences.

"What are you doing down here?!" He questioned her, his voice full of true concern.

"Nothing really, just thinking-" Hermione answered bluntly, wiping- what looked like- a tear away from her cheek. Her eyes stayed glued on the moon, studying each of its facets. Hermione could feel his gaze directed upon her, providing her with an odd sense of pleasure.

"Hey," he cooed, drawing her focus to him. "Why are you crying?"

"Umm- nothing..." Hermione blurted out, yanking her head away from him. She quickly wiped her tears but was stopped by the feeling of Harry's warm hands cupped around her own.

Hermione smiled, while the salty tears continued falling ceaselessly down her face. She softly rested her head on Harry's shoulder, while she launched into a full explanation.

"Well, I was actually on the way to watch you practice Quidditch--" she stopped, as the dark red blush spread up to her cheeks. She enjoyed watching Harry play quidditch, it made him look extremely attractive. "--until someone stopped me. Apparently, Cormac thought it would be funny to tease me about being single." Hermione huffed, furrowing her eyebrows in embarrassment.

"That git!" Harry breathed. "Why can't you have a boyfriend? I'm sure multiple boys would die to date you." Harry vented, his eyes growing wide as he realized what he said. "I-I mean, you're really pretty..."

"It isn't that." Hermione began, feeling her cheeks glow with a tinted pink color. "I'm not allowed." Her eyes traveled down to her lap, for she couldn't seem to bring them to look at Harry.

"Oh, why don't you have a girlfriend?!"

Harry smiled at her, interlacing their fingers. "I don't have a girlfriend because you aren't allowed to have a boyfriend."
