His hand grazed over his messy raven hair, fixing it in the process. His bright emerald eyes glistened, as his laugh echoed throughout the air. Oh, he was perfect! Whenever he smiled, the troubles of life seemed to disappear. Whenever he smirked, my insides started to squirm. Sadly, I continued life, going unnoticed by this particular boy.

"Where are you going?!" My roommate and best friend, Ginny Weasley, demanded.
"The library!" I hollered back, before slinging my satchel over my shoulder and running out of the Gryffindor Common Room.
A snicker sounded from behind, one that I recognized too well. Ginny had always found it entertaining that I practically "lived" at the library.
I dumped my bag on the empty chair that sat adjacent to me and took a seat in the other one. Finally, I had arrived at the library! I yanked my book out, and frantically flipped throughout the pages, in search for certain information. However, when I didn't find what I was looking for, I soon came to the realization that I had grabbed the wrong book. I left my belongings and went to carefully search the over bookshelves.
"Hmmm...not here," I muttered under my breath and turned the corner, to abruptly smack into something or someone.
My mind screamed as I spotted who it was. Oh, Merlin, it was Harry James Potter!! He offered me his hand, and I hesitantly took it. When I was up, he looked directly into my eyes.
"I've never seen you around before," He raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"I'm new..." I quickly squeaked.
He surveyed me as if he was debating that I was telling him the truth. I gulped.
"I'm Harry Potter." He extended his hand his hand out as if he wanted me to shake it. "Glad to meet you- What did you say your name was again?"
"I didn't. I'm Mione." With saying that, I shook his hand, a smile etched onto my face.

I anxiously worked on my homework assignments in the library, a very frustrated Harry sat to my left.
He groaned, "I don't understand."
"I can help you-" I suggested.
I continued to work on my paper rather than wait for his response.
"That would be spectacular!"
"What are we dealing with here?" I peeked over his shoulder, and at the empty page of Charms homework that sat untouched on the desk.
I scooched my chair closer to his and took his homework from him. "You see all you have to do is write an essay on the spell, Lumos."
"You make it sound so much easier than it is!" He groaned again, massaging his temple.

"That is a waste of time!" I said while turning away from him and rolling my eyes.
"No, it isn't! Just because you don't like it, Mione doesn't mean it is a waste of time."
"This has nothing to do with me liking it or not," I stated a disgusted expression on my face.
"Quidditch is NOT a waste of time!"
"Is too!"
"Is not!" He pouted, his hands crossed against his chest.
"Oh, grow up." I chuckled. His expression immensely melted into a grin.
