Hermione awoke from her dream, panting for breath. He was in trouble again. She jumped out of bed, threw on a pair of sweatpants and a jumper. One small strands of hair fell out of her sloppy ponytail, curling slightly. She pushed it aside and tumbled into the Common Room, landing with a painful thump.

A soft chuckle echoed from around her, and she looked up, instantly being greeted by...nothing.

"Who's there?!" Hermione called out into the darkness, reaching into her pocket to grab her wand. However- much to her disgust- she had left her wand on her bedside table. "Show yourself! I-I'm not afraid of you."

There it was again. The same voice, chuckling.

"Come out already!" Hermione exclaimed, throwing her hands up in defeat.

Two warm hands wrapped around her torso, and a warm, cheery feeling- the same feeling that comes on a chilly day, right after you had a sip of hot apple cider- spread through her. Hermione knew who it was.

"Harry!"

"Yes, Mione?" Harry asked innocently, his warm breath hitting her neck, sending shivers down her spine.

"W-What are you doing up at this time of night?!"

"I could ask you the same thing..." Harry answered, amused at the impact he had on her.

"Stop doing that!"

"Doing what?"

"What you're doing now! Let go of me!" Hermione breathed out heavily, almost panting for breath. Harry chuckled again, he was quite aware of what he was doing to her.

"No..." He smirked, his lips brushing against her cheek.

"Stop that."

"Why?" He questioned, his voice coming out in a hoarse whisper.

"I don't know. Maybe because your leading me on, and I'm tired of it. You don't even fancy me anyways, so what's the point. Do you find pleasure watching me suffer?" Mione answered truthfully, tears threatening to spill out of her eyes at any moment.

"That's a lie. Hermione, I care about you so much more than you know. However, you're right, I don't fancy you." Hermione closed her eyes, trying aimlessly to keep the tears from flooding out. "Mione, I don't fancy you. That wouldn't even be close to the level of love I have for you."

Hermione smiled at his words, turning around to face him. Harry brushed the stray wisp of hair behind her ears, pulling her closer. He bent down and kissed her forehead, his lips lingering longer than necessary.

"Wait-Mione?! Why did you come down here in the first place?!"

"I umm- was worried about you." Hermione muttered out, the slightest bit embarrassed.

He chuckled once again. Oh, how he loved this girl.
